If you’re looking for an authentic Mexican dish, you’ve got to come here! The staff were really attentive, atmosphere really friendly, and the food was amazing, (don’t get me started with the desserts, best ice cream I’ve ever had.. literally). Best Mexican restaurant in town! 10/10
One of the best restaurants in fond du lac hands down. The best authentic restaurant within 100 miles. The service and flavors and smiles are worth coming back for weekly if not twice a week. Stop down to a second home for the best traditional Mexican food around.

My brother and I were in Fond Due Lac to ice fish this weekend. Friday evening we went to Ala Roma for dinner, spectacular service and food. We thought we would try for some good Mexican food on Saturday. Los Mezcales came up in our search as a good place, 4.4 starts. When we arrived the place looked perfect. We were immediately shown to a table and given chips and salsa, fantastic. There were two waitresses working and both walked by our table several times. We greeted them both and kept thinking eventually one would stop, neither ever did. It was not busy at all, each had one table besides us. We waited, and waited, and waited but neither waitress ever even acknowledged us. After our chips and salsa were gone we decided that we weren’t going to stick around any longer, about 15 minutes. Then a very gracious bar tender walked over and asked if we had been served. She took our drink order only to return and tell us the keg was empty. She suggested bottles for the first round, great we were at least getting service. She then returned and said they were out of those as well and she would go check in the back. We had now been there over 20 minutes and still had no beer or waitress, we left. It was very disappointing.
