Lacked flavor. The guacamole and salsa are good but chips, steak tacos and seafood enchilada all lack flavor, wasnt a very enjoyable meal. Food did come out fast though!
They need some work on their menu items. I ordered carry out here back in 2020 and didn’t really enjoy the food so much but I thought I’d try them again and give it a chance at redemption . Not so much. I ordered the beef burrito and chile relleno dinner combination and the burrito only came with a soupy, clearly old, sloppy joe tasting filling inside, nothing else. Beef soup inside a tortilla. Chile relleno I’m pretty sure had the same filling. Beans that came with the dinner were super thin and had an off taste.Rice was the best thing on the plate by far. Everything was put in a single carry out container so then my sad burrito turned into sad enchilada. On top of it all the online ordering system says it will text when the order is done, and they must not hit confirm on their end ever because that text (on both orders, two years apart) did not work either time and my food was just sitting at the counter by the time I showed up for who knows how long.
Food was good. Service was fairly quick.Problem was all waitstaff were wearing masks. I asked the usual question "Are you sick?" Waitress replied "No." Don't like being treated like a hospital patient. I'm vaccinated, double-boosted and tested. Probably won't go back.
Excellent food, speedy service and a courteous and attentive server...this pretty much checks all of the necessary boxes for a GREAT restaurant. On top of that, their chips and salsa beforehand were *REALLY* good, too ! ??
TERRIBLE! This is possibly the worst Mexican food I have ever had. I ordered thru DoorDash. I ordered the Bean dip with cheese, well there was 2 tiny splotches of cheese on top of the bean dip and the bean dip had no flavor whatsoever. I also ordered a Quesidilla which was soggy and completely flipped over in the container and the amount of lettuce and quacamole and cheese in it was almost nothing. I doubt I will try anything else from this restaurant.
Mexican restaurants are scarce in WI. El Patron does a fine job (no more, no less) of satisfying my Mexican food craving until I can make it down south, where the cuisine is 100% better. The best part about eating here is I didn't have to make it myself. Salsa is good, chips could use improvement, and chicken needs to be seasoned, but the service and interior are wonderful.

After a burial at a near by cemetery about 50 of us made an impromptu decision to eat here. The service and food was great! The food came out fast. Very impressed how they handled such a large group they weren't expecting.
The food was hot and delicious. Service getting the food was quick. On this visit, we had to wait a while for our check. It was moderately busy but not packed. I always am happy with everything at this place. My favorite!!
