We went here for a birthday dinner with my aunts. The bar tending was sub-par, could not get their attention for another drink. We ordered our dinners and then went to the dining room. 2 people ordered the deep fried lobster and it was under cooked and very small portion for $31. My ribs were very tough so also not done. My aunt ordered a sweet potato with her meal and was served fries, the waitress did not even offer to fix. This is such a nice place, too bad the help is failing them. Probably will not be back ever
We ate there on a Saturday, they were very busy and we were served at the bar quickly, told it would be about 1/2 wait but got seated in less than 20 minutes. We all thought the food was very good. A bit of a drive but worth it.
Our food was delicious. We had rib eye with shrimp and tenderloin with shrimp. It was done just perfectly. There was a waiter who was doing the salad bar with a camo shirt that kept busy the entire time we were there. He made sure that the salad bar was stocked and in perfect condition. I give him kudos for being such a hard worker. Our waitress was very good but could have come to table a little more often but otherwise was excellent. We will definitely be going back. Keep up the great job!!

After a few year absence we thought we would give it a try again. The first trip a fee weeks ago our order was wrong and cold with no adjustment to our bill. Our last night's trip will be definitely our last. Prime rib was mainly fat (I love fat so it says alot if I complain) and the remainder of my meal was cold. Seafood chowder was so fishy it was not edible. The fiancé meal was a complete disaster as her haddock was literally still frozen in the middle. The only thing she was able to eat were the two small sweet potatoes. Wait staff was friendly enough, bartenders incredibly anti social. We will not be back unless we see it's under new ownership or management. Terrible experience that quite literally wrecked our mood and night!
It was just ok. The value is not there for the price. The food was ok but not great like it used to be, my husband's beurre blanc sauce was broke. Our service was not great either.
Always one of the best places to eat. Excellent food and the service is awesome. They are very accommodating.
Food is normally very good , last night my wife ordered the Winnebago….. steak were very chewy to say the least
My husband and I have been there several times over the past few years. Enjoy our time sitting at the bar having a few drinks while we decide what to order. Bartenders are friendly and drinks are well made. Bloody Marys are especially good. Then it comes to our meal. My hubby usually orders the large fish platter. Our previous visit: Medium fish platter when he ordered the large. Questioned it and our server told him that it WAS the large fish platter. Fine. We went back a second time and again my hubby ordered the large fish platter (yet THIS time he asked a waitress at the bar how many pieces of fish were on the large fish platter and she told us..) which was much larger than what my hubby received the last time. Oh well. My hubby ordered the large fish platter again..which came out short of what the waitress had told us. Medium fish platter and the large fish platter price. We didn't even bother to ask anymore, as we knew the answer. I ordered the small tenderloin..very medium rare. Came out medium to well done with little to no pink in the middle. Oh well. Ate a piece or two with no happy face as it had little flavor. Added the salad bar to my order. Soups were lacking something such as: Noodles in the chicken noodle soup..was merely broth as I dug around for a few noodles: and the other choice was Broccoli Cheese. Soo totally thick and brown..so I passed on that one. I've been a customer of Blanck's Lake Aire for many years and would love to return...
