Great food and service!!!
Went to BYG tonight, food and service was great! Doug was our server and his level of service was superb! The food came out timely and so did the drinks. I’m definitely coming back!
The soup was excellent, the Prime Rib was tender but knife could not cut thru the membrane between meat and fat, the onion rings were not beer battered as menu said, the cheese fries were kind of weird with the seasoned fries. The apple crisp was overly sweet with the carmel. The waitress was polite and professional. Will not order prime rib again.
Excellent! We stopped on our way through town based on other reviews and were not disappointed in the least. Excellent food, exceptional service, Host saw us walk in the door and knew what table to seat us at before we even got to the host station! Burger was A-MAZ-ING!
This restaurant offers two dining experiences. One in the bar area with booths and tables and one in the main dining area for a quieter experience. Every entree I have tried has been excellent. They have great soups, sandwiches, and many seafood and steak options to choose from. The service is also always good and timely.

A group from work stopped in for lunch on St. Patrick's Day. I expected the place to be packed, but surprisingly, there was plenty of room and prompt, pleasant service. Knowing that corned beef was waiting for me later, I opted for the fish sandwich special, and I was very glad that I did--it was perhaps the best item I have ever had here. The Backyard is an informal place with relatively open seating areas and a "chatty" atmosphere, and I've seen it quite busy over the lunch hour. If you are on a budget, their specials are quite reasonable. Enjoy!
This restaurant is near my son's school and is one of his favorite places to eat when we are there for a visit. I see he and his girlfriend also go here for dinner when she visits. They have great food and fantastic waitstaff. I really love their chef salad and fun drinks. The guys rave about the Mac & Cheese. We will be back again and again!
We where visiting from St. Louis for my daughters hockey tournament. We looked up a close place to eat near the hotel. The BackYard Grill & Bar had great railings so we gave it a try. Not only was it a great atmosphere, the food was excellent. We even ended up there more than once because there where so many great looking things to eat it made it difficult to choose. I would totally recommend this restaurant and I’ve you are so lucky to have Laura as your waitress your experience will be like none other. She is absolutely fabulous, we lucked into getting her twice. Such an amazing place with outstanding staff.
This was our first try of this Establishment and it wasn’t good at all. We order breaded chicken wings and frankly we could have done better in our Air fryer. They were cold and store bought frozen wings.
