Love this place. Feels like home. Best food ever!
11:11 was a happy surprise. The outside is a typical family restaurant that more than often is bad food, NOT 11:11! As the name describes its fare is many choices of hamburgers and beignets, with plenty of options for fish fry. My husband had the perch which was tasty. The batter wasn't too thick or salty as so many places. I had the bluegill which was fantastic! Our daughter ordered one of the burgers. It was thick and juicy with a wonderful bun. I definitely want to try one next time. I am leaving the best for last. No, not the beignets which were very good. It was the french fries. They were fresh cut on the premises with a little peel on. My favorite. My husband works at a fry manufacturer that makes good commercial fries but nothing like homemade. These were great and I didn't have to get my house smelling like fry oil for days. I love to cook and am an adventurous chef with a voracious appetite for quality food. This restaurant isn't a choice for vegetables but it is an excellent choice for simple, quality, and fresh American food. When we are in Fond du Lac it is now our first and only restaurant!
Fresh, tasty, burgers and beignets. Well managed, friendly staff and clean restaurant. First time there and we will be back!
Stopped in on a Saturday. It was busy but not packed. There are several Signature burgers in addition to the standard sides.I ordered the 11:11 burger, which is pictured. It’s a “juicy Lucy” which is a burger stuffed with cheese as well as a halo of crusty cheddar cheese around the edges. The burger was very good, though I did experience some cheese overload by the end. My family enjoyed their selections as well. We’d come again on our way through Fond du Lac.
The burgers are amazing! If you're brave, I highly recommend the 11:11 Burger. I'm not sure if they had a new person on the fryer during our last visit, but the sweet potato fries were barely fried and soggy and the beignets were dense instead of airy. Had we not taken our order to go and eaten in instead, I'm sure they would have fixed the problems for us. I'll eat here any time!
This place is a gem. An absolute gem. It just all tastes so fresh! I dig that they have the bags of potatoes out so you can see your french fries previous life. This is a quality establishment whose employees know just how amazing the food is, and appreciate serving it. Big, juicy, greasy, perfect, delicious, creatively put together burgers. Beignets so good it might be illegal.... But probably not. The pictures of Fond du Lac gone by that are on the wall are so fun to look at. Stellar. This joint is stellar. No regrets.
HOLY SMOKES was this place ON POINT! Drove up to FDL from MKE to buy a truck and had to grab food before coming home. A google search indicated this establishment nearby. 11:11 happens to "special" number to me (and I saw on the sign by the bathroom the owner as well). My husband & I took this as a "sign" and headed directly there. The staff was friendly & helpful. The individual at the register explained the order of operations since we werent sure if there was wait staff, and outlined their special. We found a highly appetizing menu selection which can be a disaster with my indecisiveness, but the instant I saw "crusted cheddar" I knew what I wanted. The husband chose a Baconeater and neither of us were disappointed. JUICY burgers with a quality soft bun. The crusted cheddar made a crispy skirt around my patty and I enjoyed an abnornally large portion. I rarely finish a burger over 4oz. I could have gotten a "little" and been satisfied. It did leave 2oz for my husband to polish off and agree it was delicious - like the burger he selected. The natural cut fries were outstanding (similar to Five Guys if you need a chain to compare to). Shakes had a runnier consistency than I prefer. We'll definitely be back but go with an alcoholic beverage from the bar instead.
Food was delicious. Got the juicy Lucy and mushroom provolone with a regular order of fries. Fed both of us and then some. Burgers were well seasoned and done to our liking. Flavor was delicious. Service was good but they were slightly distracted(possibly new crew member). Not super busy or crowded. Short wait time for food. Will be back.
all these reviews are wrong the burger was nasty The Cook's look like they haven't washed in Forever. the staff was rude. I will never recommend this restaurant to anyone. don't eat here it's a joke!!
Oh. My. Gosh!!! This is hands down the best burger place I've ever been to! The 11:11 burger is amazing! There are no words for how delicious the burgers and shakes are. The staff are always super friendly and make the food super fresh and yummy!!! ????????
