Employees are SUPER rude, the shift lead was telling the workers to take the survey as many times as they could to help with their score. (They left the window open this time and I got to hear their lovely conversation) Yet they do not give the customer their receipt to take the survey. Classy place here.. they are always out of half their menu items.
I think that this is the only Wendy's in town. It's just Wendy's. It's no different than any other Wendy's. Or at least not much. The customer service is not exemplary. However, the customer service is not bad. It is difficult to get customer service that is very good right now. Because, so many people are working with limited staff. So stellar customer service is difficult to attain. The food is the average Wendy's food. Which I very much enjoy. Hence my visits. It does arrive a little cooler than I prefer. It is still warm. I would prefer for it to be hotter. It is lukewarm. Otherwise The taste is rather good. That is all.
We ordered a few burgers, fries, and nuggets, waited for half an hour to get food that was barely over room temperature, with one of the fries only half filled, bacon that wasn't cooked, and none of the sauces we ordered. To top it off we're pretty sure the person that took our order was drunk.
Riddle me this. Nearly an hour waiting in line until handed our food. Yet, the food was cold? Cold burgers and cold fries are not exactly tasty. Cannot blame being understaffed when the dine in is closed and there are 7 employees "working". One employee stood outside smoking for about 10 mins. and then was swapped with a girl, also smoking and on her phone that she removed from her bra. Delicious. That same girl then wandered around the kitchen, drinking a soda, and then dumped it out and got herself a lemonade. Stood around a bit. Then two others joined her in standing around. It was like being in a twilight zone. Finally handed our food after waiting at the window for a solid 15 minutes. No "sorry for the wait" or "have a good day". Customer service here has tanked. Training and management needs to step waaaay up. This used to be our stop on the way to the Dells, but not anymore!
Not recommended if you're in a rush or on a road trip trying to get to your destination before your kids snap. We sat in the drive thru line for almost 30 minutes, saw an employee smoking outside while waiting and then had the horrific thought that she probably doesn't wash her hands or wear gloves afterward, but we had already ordered at that point so we remained committed. Sure enough, we pulled up to the window where we were barely acknowledged by the drive thru employee and none of them were wearing gloves. Female employee behind him was just standing there doing nothing. We were handed one lemonade at a time as if the sloths from Zootopia were working here. Then, three Lord of the Rings Extended Editions later, we received our food, which was actually fine despite one of us not receiving bacon and we only got 2 ketchup packets for 3 people. Nice. Overall, run by sloths and unsanitary. Just don't do it.
Drove up. Came about 7:30 pm. Ordered 2 cheese burgers with works. Meat was tepid. Bun was cold, very thick bread. I’m not surprised about that the fries were cooler and not crisp. I ate burger one threw the other away.
If you are a Food App Driver, this is the worst restaurant in all of Eau Claire to get stuck at. Do not take orders from here. It is one thing to be underpaid and understaffed - that, I am understanding of. It is something completely different to straight up give a Driver two entirely wrong orders with NO receipts to figure out what is what after making us wait over half an hour in line, then when we go in to correct the problem, give us a THIRD wrong order. That is beyond being understaffed and underpaid, that is incompetence. Good luck.
Their employees seem to be consistently high, or otherwise entirely unaware of what's going on. As a doordash driver and consumer I'm constantly waiting 30+ minutes for my order, fingers crossed the entire time that it will be correct, or at least warm...Better staff and/or management is highly needed. I'm not very picky about food or restaurants, but this place is just trash.
Our sandwiches and fries were bearly warm. Not the hot and crispy as advertised. My grilled chicken was dry and there was hardly any honey mustard sauce on it.My lettuce was soggy. My husband said his baconater didnt taste like it had any bacon. It was also very dry. The service was friendly. Over all it was Very disappointing.
They start serving lunch at 1030 why don't you get your lunch until 11 in drive thru with cold food? Only 3 cars in the drive thru no one inside. ongoing problem, has happened a few to many times to me. This issue needs to be addressed!!
