My wife and I went here late on a Sunday night. The bartender (Randy) was a great conversationalist and it was clear he was proud of this place and how great their scratch kitchen is! We ended up splitting the braised chicken breast with fava beans, leaks and spinach. Holy smokes it was great!Randy proceeded to share some stories on some of the spirits they carry and shared a sample of a local gin (MN).We will definitely be back. Their brunch menu looks amazing. We sampled their homemade bloody Mary mix and are looking forward to that! The open kitchen is super fun to watch and it is kept super clean!

My first my first experience with my family about 3 weeks ago the food was very good I would say the portions are a little bit small considering the price but that's okay the coffee drinks were very good the orange juice that was $5 a small glass was not even filled up I'd say it was maybe three quarters of a small glass okay so today we went back there because my son does like the breakfast Burger I ordered the Monte Cristo and it came out as I was eating it it was just basically thick bread with really nothing on it but a light dusting of powdered sugar and barely any meat or sauce inside the hash browns were very well done on the outside and kind of raw on the inside and for $15 to me that's unacceptable so the rest of my family ate before the waitress came back and I just told her that this was not good and she said all I'll just take the plate from you if that's okay and I said sure I'm not going to eat it and she came back and stated that they would just take it off the bill which I was expecting but there was no manager that came over nothing my son did not finish his plate so I did eat some of his hash browns they two were burnt on the outside and almost literally raw on the inside I'd say we won't be going back there when we spend about $150 each time no one asks you how your meal was the service was shoddy I'm pretty much done with the place it's sad because the first time was good but this was not acceptable...

The food is good when they get it right, (over priced though) but as a vegan, this place is really disappointing. I've had it happen twice now where I ordered a vegan option and was given non vegan food. On top of that, they charge an obscene amount for making pizzas vegan. You shouldn't have to pay an ext a $7 for two pizzas just because you have a dairy allergy.

We've enjoyed dining here in the past, but tonight the service was so bad (Flannery specifically) that I don't think we will ever go back. Houligans is a far better option, if you're looking for a nice place to eat downtown Eau Claire.

I had the short rib, and it was melt in your mouth delicious! My dinner mate had the trout and he was pleased, as it was perfectly cooked. The fingerling potatoes that accompanied it were lightly crisp and buttery flavored. The service was friendly and fast. We also loved the guest book that arrived with our check. It was so fun to read what others wrote.

Turns down service to people who haven't done anything wrong because they have some sort of problem with that person's sibling, who by the way was not even present when service was denied. Also have been told many other horror stories about this place including from people who work here, people who have eaten here, and people who even just hang out nearby. Would happily share them, too. Seems like an incredibly unprofessional establishment with terrible food, that cares about nothing more than appearances. Obviously not the community-friendly business that they claim to be.

Food is great. Waiters were friendly and helpful. Beautiful restaurant perfect for social get together or a date night. I enjoyed the entire visit.

The pizza is top-notch and they always have an interesting special. Seriously - the pizza is some of the best I’ve ever had, not just in EC. The cocktails are also on par with the expectations of a space like this. The appetizers are nothing special and are relatively overpriced.

Excellent service though and they did not charge us gor the drinks, but it was really odd. Our food was missing ingriedients, juice never delivered, we got it after check and we understand but, we had no luck here?

When staying at the Lismore we always order room service from the Informalist, Great Food & Great Service.
