Met here for a coffee for a business introduction. A good location with a fun selection of refreshments to keep conversations interesting...Prices seem a bit steep, but quality and service are great.

Shopping for that unique kitchen gift or must have. This place is where you want to shop. & excellent espresso drinks also. I was happy we checked it out. Want to shop for a good wine on my next visit

We stopped here for lunch on our travels past Eau Claire, mostly because we had made a previous stop at the brewery in the same building, and we learned about the connection between the two businesses. I thought it was just a coffee shop with some food items, but it was so much more! In addition to coffee and food, there's a wonderful market with lots of cheese, food items, beer, liquor, and of course, coffee and related items. We had an excellent lunch. The menu is small (it serves all day breakfast and all day lunch), but we had no difficulty finding items we enjoyed including a wild rice and mushroom burger and the grain bowl. The ginger scallion sauce that comes with the grain bowl is out of this world!! Many items are sourced from local farms. The coffee was very, very good. I do agree with another review that the ordering at the counter part is quite confusing upon arrival. There is no signage or good traffic flow. All in all, we definitely will add this to our list of approved places for us to stop when we are traveling through!

If I could give it 6 stars, I would! They have an awesome selection of Wines, spirits, craft beers, and cigars. There coffee is great too! The staff is very friendly. The owners helped me pick out some very great wines for Thanksgiving, they were a huge hit! Highly recommend.

nice all around place. good breakfasts

As I have experienced it, Coffee Grounds is a cute and well-done combination of café, deli, and wine shop. There’s a nice selection of cooking curios, cheeses, and other delicatessen staples, a generous selection of wines and other alcoholic beverages. It all *feels* local, but I’m not sure how local the wares actually are. Regardless, there’s lots of interesting wares to look at and browse while waiting for food or friends. At the counter, there are café staples: coffees, espressos, hot chocolate, teas, muffins, scones, and so on. They also have a menu of breakfast entrees like oatmeal, eggs, and so on. While it was delicious, my breakfast entree was $10–11 for not much food—a bit expensive by my measure. I would have rather paid less for that portion size or gotten a larger portion size for what I paid. I suppose it’s more expensive because they don’t have the economy of scale that a dedicated restaurant would have. This is my go-to coffee shop for getting work done when I’m in Eau Claire. It has free, unsecured wifi (no password required, either). On weekends, it’s usually pretty quiet around opening time and then for an hour or two. Last time I was there, the music was a little too rambunctious for optimal work, but I tend to be sensitive to that. There are tables outside (behind the building) for those who want to bring a furry friend or just be outside! I don’t think they had a “doggy station” or trash bin for throwing away doggie bags (not that they need to; just remember to bring one if needed). The bathrooms have always been very clean. The staff has always been friendly. They’re short-staffed right now, so wait times are longer for food orders and they may have slightly reduced hours. (I hope they’re okay!)There’s a back room with a semi-closed door I peeked in. The room looked like a brewery or distillery pub room. I’m very curious, but have never seen it occupied. I can see it being used for special events like catered company dinners, wedding receptions, and so on.Compared to other coffee shops, I recommend the Coffee Grounds for meeting people, for catching up with friends, bringing out-of-town guests, going to get work done, or want to browse. It’s less busy/bustling than many breakfast places, so it’s excellent for getting work done.

Fair serve. Latte was lukewarm. Chai lattes tasted watered down and more like apple spice than Chai. All drinks were warm/cool. Very disappointed.

Cute coffee shop, brewery, and liquor store all in one. We found this place by accident and were thrilled! We got two coffees, one flavored brewed coffee (salted caramel) and one iced caramel latte, and enjoyed them both. We'll definitely be back when we're in the area again.

Love coming here whenever I'm in EC. Best craft beer selection, hands down. I am always finding new breweries and rare beer, which makes it a must stop. The food is delicious, definitely take time to grab some and some coffee if you have time.Great place to shop too, especially for Christmas time... lots of gift ideas for a variety of people you may want to buy for.

The place is clean, neat and spacious. They share space with K Point Brewery. The negative was that I was NOT acknowledged when I stepped to the counter. The other negative was the woman
