We were seated quickly in this modest storefront restaurant. One of us likes spicier food, the other likes it milder. We ordered a green papaya salad to share (mild), chicken cashew (mild) and vegetable green curry (medium). Alas, the mild dishes were so spicy that they were almost inedible. The flavors of all three dishes were excellent, and the curry had the appropriate level of heat (almost indistinguishable from the "mild" dishes, though). Because nearly all the dishes offer the ability to specify one's preferred protein, including tofu or vegetables only, the menu is well-suited to both omnivores and vegetarians. Portions are generous, service is attentive and prices are modest. Unfortunately, we will not return, since the "mild" versions of dishes simply are not mild enough for the palate of one of us. But if you like spicy, flavorful food, do give Thai Orchid a try.
Such good food, but you should really update your estimated time for food. You say 20 minutes, but I've never gotten food in less than an hour.
The food was great, the pho was amazing and the spring rolls were perfect!
If you don't like spice, there is a slice level below mild that isn't mentioned on the menu! (Half a pepper)Just an FYI. I like spicy. And the curries here are fantastic!
This has been one of my favorite restaurants for many years, though I don't eat out often. The pad see ew is splendid, and the curry dishes are astoundingly delicious.
Very good Thai food! The sticky rice with mango was delicious. The egg rolls, spring rolls with the peanut sauce was amazing! My drunken noodles ? mmmmmmmmm! My friends pad Thai was yummy! I had Thai coffee…so good! Customer service was excellent! Going back again and taking friends!!!!!
So good! We started with the spring rolls, and the peanut sauce was superb! The pineapple curry was loved by all at our table, including a 16 month old. Of course we we finished our lunch with the mango sticky rice.It is also very reasonably priced. If we find ourselves in town again we would for sure stop again!
My husband and I love the Hmong style papaya salad here!! Love how we can choose didn't spice level as well. Customer service was excellent!!!
When coming here be ready to wait cause this place takes forever on your food. Its a clean and nice place. Your staff just sucks if your food isn't coming on time n your customers are waiting 45 to an hour on food
Food is six stars, unfortunately today service was 1 star.No return to table to ask if we wanted anything more, bill brought to table without asking if we wanted anything else, usually I would leave and go to another place but I love the mango sticky rice so I had to ask for that. Glad the take out is going well but the dine in was lacking today.
