Truly the best Mexican fare (and this is saying a lot from a guy who loves tacos) I have encountered in the Midwest. I’ve traveled all over and have yet to find any place that matches the heat, freshness, fast preparation, replicable authenticity, and satisfaction of the food of Tacos Juanita, or as we like to call it “Juanitas”. From the street tacos, birria tacos, fresh salsa, good margs, and more. If I were on my death bed and happened to be dying in the Eau Claire area, I would make sure to enjoy some tacos here one last time. May Juanitas quality and the legendary staff that makes all Mexican food of London street live on forever.
I can’t believe I’ve lived here two years before trying Tacos Juanita. The salsa, guac, cheese dip and chips was SO good. Very fresh ingredients and obviously homemade. The rice and beans sides were also terrific. Our favorite taco was the carnitas. Amazing. The corn tortillas were soft and not dry or oily. The meat portion was generous. We will be back again…and again and again.
Heard so much great feedback from the locals that I just had to go in! Bethany was amazing with my kids & made their day with her candies on the first day she displayed them! And we finally stopped in to try the food! After about 9 years of leaving Tx, we finally found some Mexican food! Clean, kind, & tasty food!! Can’t get any better anywhere else up North! Can’t wait to try the tamales next! Bethany… you are amazing!
The best BIRRIA TACOS , I’m partial but I can eat it everyday! We also have SPICY GUMMY CANDY which is to die for! We appreciate you!!!
Super friendly staff. Really great food. Updated indoor decor. I swear that the meat in the dishes here have better flavor then most Mexican restaurants whose dishes that are hid by sauces.
I'm actually writing this while I wait for my food. I just wanted to appreciate the warm and welcoming vibes the waitress had. She was so nice and even offered to bring my order out to my car. Excellent customer service. And just based on that I would come here again.
Food was bad had no authentic flavor, a burrito bowl we got was a bowl of soup. Waitresses were to busy talking to each other to wait on the customers. This is the third time and last time we try this place. we will not be returning. To bad it has potential.
If there's more than 2 cars in the parking lot go somewhere else. The wait staff can't handle more than that. And when you get tired of waiting and decide to go somewhere else the staff will get rude with you. But the food is good. The staff will make you go elsewhere.
We stopped here on our way to Chicago. You start with chips and salsa - very addicting. Tamales and tacos al pastor were very good. I would stop here again if I was passing through Eau Claire.
One of if not the best Mexican restaurants in the area.My only item of caution is to stick with more traditional menu items.I fear that this restaurant gets relatively low volume. So the least frequently ordered items are likely to be the lowest quality.
