Amazing amazing amazing!! Order the southern tortellini with alligator, you won’t be disappointed. We had an amazing waitress too. Smoky old fashioned and hush puppies were both incredible too!
Spending the long Memorial weekend in Eau Claire and came upon Stella Blues while driving around. Let me tell you.....with 5 of us dining and all ordering something different (plus 2 apps and desert) there was not one thing that was not phenomenal! The atmosphere was awesome, service was great and the fried deviled eggs were devine. Definitely a hidden gem among this beautiful city. Highly recommend!
If you haven't been here, please do yourself a favor and bring a dart, stand 10' away and throw it at the menu, drink or food...You won't be disappointed with this New Orleans/southern style restaurant.Note to owners:You have an awesome eating experience, but please consider bringing some more of that NOLA flair and music into the equation...
Oh my goodness what an experience!Appetizer.... I ordered the oysters, they were very good but they needed one thing done to them before they were served. They need to be broiled for at least a minute! Then they will be perfect!I had Steak in red wine sauce with scallops in white cheese sauce with steamed green beans and mashed potatoes OMG it was amazing!!The choices of dessert is phenomenal!And the chocolate martinis.... yummy!

When we first arrived, the person who greeted us seemed as if the fact that we had a reservation was annoying. We had been to the restaurant with friends several weeks earlier and enjoyed our meal so thought that it would be a good place to take our son and his partner when they visited from out of town. The restaurant wasn’t particularly busy which made the fact that our appetizers took approximately 45 minutes to arrive and our food arrived less than 5 minutes later. I would like to say that it was worth the wait but it wasn’t. Of the four meals, one was good, the other three were disappointing. I hate to leave a bad review but the visit was embarrassing after I had spoken highly of our previous visit. We haven’t been back and probably won’t - there are too many other choices in Eau Claire

Really disappointed. Food was incredibly bland across the board for both entrees we ordered. I also found $8 for one small piece of cornbread quite ridiculous. We were expecting at least two pieces for that prices. Wait staff was not attentive. We had almost finished eating by the time she came by to ask how everything was. The one positive were the drinks. They were delicious and reasonably priced.
Upon arrival, hostess was very nice and seated us. From there it went down hill. We waited 17mins before we were waited on. Didn't even get water or drinks. Had to go to the bar and get our drinks. After, I asked the hostess if we had a waitress, she sincerely apologized and got us one, which in turn, took another 10mins before we actually got help. Upon coming to our table, finally, we were finally able to order. On the positive side, she took care of our first drink and everything started to go better. As an experienced person in this type of business, always stay focused on your customers who pay the bills and not hang out as a group at the wait station. Looks bad for business. Rather they are new or a regular. Food wise, very good.
We went here because it advertised blues music. We arrived in a Saturday night to an empty restaurant. A waitress walked up with long plastic gloves up her arms and a huge mask. She said they haven’t had blues music in a long time. She said she’s not sure why they advertise it still…. Not sure what would draw anybody here?
