This is a fast-casual place: one orders at the counter, and it is delivered to the table where one is seated. Restaurant personnel are cheerful, friendly and helpful. They continued to check back with us after delivering our food to see if anything else was needed. Although they serve alcohol, the margarita was insipid. The guacamole also was quite flavorless. The tacos and burrito we ordered were similarly bland. We had read "Our Story" about the owner/chef before we decided to try Silly Serrano and expected richer, more authentic flavors. There are many other Mexican restaurants in Eau Claire where the food is better.
I purchased a taco bar for 55 people at a company picnic. Everything was prepared on time and boxed up for me to get in an efficient manner. I was offered disposable chaffing dishes and Sterno heaters which worked great.The entire process was easy on my end and reasonably priced. I chose several extras and paid less than $13 per person which was very reasonable for the quality and quantity of food. Everyone at the picnic thought the food was tasty and liked the set up very much.Good taste, good value, good service, plentiful quantity…I would certainly choose Silly Serano again.
The food is always fantastic. You can't go wrong with anything you order here. The prices are also really good for what you get. Always really pleasant service on top of it.
My husband and I love going bere for a quick lunch date. This is a great place to get food quickly while not lacking freshness and taste. We have visited here several times. Never disappointed.

Great gluten free options, labeled and cross contamination is handled well. Was able to eat the chicken tacos without getting sick due to celiacs. Food was amazing.
Delicious food and great customer service for our group of 9--5 kids & 4 adults! Everyone enjoyed their meals and the guacamole is amazing! Thank you also for the special dessert for our birthday boy! Five stars!
This is my new favorite for authentic Mexican food! The meat is always so fresh tasting, no fatty steak pieces! It’s a very welcoming place! Highly recommend the street tacos!! Love the green salsa too!! So good!
