Fast, friendly service. One of the best burgers I've ever had! Average as far as prices go. Good environment, really good food, definitely recommend.
We sat outside, which was very pleasant on a busy Friday. Our server was friendly and attentive and my walleye tacos and my husband's burger were very good.
For some unknown reason, they went the “smash burger” route. No thanks. Not interested in a piece of nearly carbonized meat. The new menu is not good. No grilled chicken sandwich? Only chicken is breaded deep fried Nashville. Used to be one of my go to lunch places. Not anymore.
My mom and I came here after she read good reviews and wanted to try it. We sat at the bar. The general manager was very knowledgeable about beer and kindly answered my mom's questions and offered samples. The bartender was awesome, didn't rush us when we asked for extra time to peruse the menu and for me the best part -- often when I sit at a bar the bartender will ignore me and focus on whoever I'm with because I don't order alcohol. This wasn't the case here -- I got a drink refill before I even asked for one and was treated as a welcome customer. My mom really enjoyed her burger and mine was pretty darn good too. We'd come back!
Honestly, customer service in this area has completely gone downhill. Being in the customer service industry for the better part of 15 years, this waitress was amazing. I wish I remembered her name now that's it's been a week. Longer Brown hair, maybe 5'6" she was so sweet and took care of us even though my boyfriend and I worked super late so we didn't even make it there until around 8:45 and they close at 10. She was amazing and made us feel welcome and definitely did not rush us. This place has great service almost every time I go. Favorite spot in town.
We went here last night and absolutely loved it. Their "boneless wings" are AMAZING - chunks of tender white meat chicken with a bit of crunch on the outside. We tried them with spicy garlic sauce and sweet chili - both were good, but the sweet chili was out of this world. Our server was quick, friendly, and attentive.As the Tap House name implies, they have a very extensive beer list, and they run specials. I tried two unique beers, and my husband (who doesn't drink alcohol) was very pleased that he was given the option to customize his lemonade with several fruit flavors - they even had mango, his favorite.We both liked our burgers. My husband especially loved his, the pepper jack guac burger. Their beer-battered fries are my favorite type of french fries, crispy and delicious, and my side of mac and cheese was awesome - the spiral noodles really hold the cheesy sauce well.Since we live out of town, I'll just have to dream about their boneless wings until our next visit to Eau Claire. Be sure to join their "Tap House Club" on their website - you get a free appetizer just for joining. I found this was easier to do on my computer than on their mobile site. This place is awesome, and already I can't wait to go back!
We had the most amazing service from the waitress and trainee today. The manager Jessica Prosek was so sweet, friendly and kind. I was very pleased to be given a free entree for my birthday ( because of being a reward member). The cheese curds were absolutely the best ever as well as the chicken fajita tacos. The service was top notch and it is never a disappointment! Will go back soon!! Love Tap House!!
My husband and I went here the other night. I had only been here once a few years ago. The food was super good!!! I had wings and he had a burger. I had zero complaints about the food! It was hot, fresh and probably the best wings I’ve had in awhile! We also ordered chips and dips which was huge!! The only complaint would be the slow service but I assume it’s like everywhere else as a lot of places are short staffed!
I don’t typically write reviews for restaurants but the drinks and food were FANTASTIC. The peach sangria and the shrimp rice bowl were delicious! Prices are decent and we certainly would come back again if in the area!
We have been at your establishment a quit a few times, good food good service! We were there yesterday 2/6/22 made a reservation for a table for 8, get there and no table was available ended up in a corner booth. Service was good but ordered 3 pizzas crusts were black and the pizzas were barley warm! Two people had wild rice soup also barley warm! I don't believe any of our group will return any time soon if at all!
