Genuinely torn between 1 and 5 stars lol...the food is really good, and it's absolutely the best place to get a gyro in the eau claire area, but also they've always been really short staffed (which I get isnt really their fault), so wait times for food are usually super long, and the people at the counter almost always seem to be Goin Through It lol...all in all though, great place to go for a late meal! It's certainly a vibe.
Very good place. Gyro tasted very good and was piping hot. Fries were crisp and had a unique lemon taste to them. To top it off the cheese curds were also great. The service was very fast, and the prices matched the food.
If you want a proper gyro..You found the right place.I cosign the atmosphere & employees. ?
Google says it's temporarily closed but it's NOT! they are open and they are bussin!!got the cheese steak and curds a few days ago and I devoured every square inch! on my mom's life it was the most delicious sandwich I have ever eaten.. and for the price!! it's unbelievable.

Wonderful service & great food.The original is delicious, the way they blend the sauce with the whole gyro!It’s delicious, & as far as service - the man that works at the front, he is very welcoming & happy to help you pick something delicious from their menu.
Have been getting progressively worse meals from Gyro King over the past year. The gyros used to have a good amount of meat, cucumbers, tomatoes, tzatziki, feta, and sautéed onions. Then they cut the cucumbers, then the tomatoes, and now they're skimping on everything. The pitas and meat have also changed for the worse. They've obviously cheaped out on ingredients but kept their prices the same.The fries we received tonight literally crunched. The fries were completely dried out. They were either old and had been sitting on the warmer way too long, or had been reheated in the oven. Unacceptable for paying $10 for a meal.Will be going to a different gyro place from now on.
Called three times for takeout with no answer so decided to drive over and I guess half the menu isn't available anymore... I understand not wanting to make a new menu but you can simply make a $2 purchase and buy marker to black out the stuff you don't sell.. it's obvious you don't care so why delay the inevitable and shut down. Spent $15 for a school cafeteria burger and mozzarella sticks. You get 3 star for the sticks.
