The interior of this restaurant is elegant and clean. You walk right in to the chicken being smoked. The food was descent the wings had a solid smoke flavor we got the sauces on the side. The hot wing sauce is not spicy and is more acidic. The mac and cheese was really good. The noodles were soft and chewy. I could of done without the scallions. The ribs were not my favorite there had a very strong bake look and taste. The burnt ends are not what my wife was expecting but were pretty good. Definitely a place to check out for solid smoked food.
Stopped in with a party of two at dinnertime on a Friday night. Had to wait about 15 minutes for a table. They do offer call ahead seating according to a sign at the host stand. While waiting, watching the rotisserie chicken go round and round in the woodfired oven pretty much made up our minds on entrees. Started with an entree of the Wisconsin Cheese Curds, which hit the spot but wouldn't put this place on the map. Next had the 1/2 chicken with the soup of the day. Our excellent waiter recommended getting the chicken with the rub and the sauce on the side. Great call, as the BBQ sauce was not particularly good and would have really ruined the otherwise exceptional chicken. Prices were fair for what you got.
Saw this place when searching and decided to stop in. Had we read the most recent reviews we would have not stopped. So glad we went. Our service was friendly and fast. The fkam chowder was hearty and loaded with clam bits. My roasted chicken was moist and tasty. Coleslaw was crisp and not overloaded with mayo. My wife's pulled pork was tender however it could have used a lot less bbq sauce or delivered letting the customer add the sauce. Cheesecake was great. One suggestion would be to add a road or soup option to an entree rather than just one side.
Great food, but expect to wait over an hour for it. We used to love coming to Grizzly's, but after the lockdown, they haven't been able to recover. The last 4 times we went, our order has either been lost or taken over an hour to arrive. The food is great when we get it, just expect to wait a while for it.
Service was very good. Friendly staff. Got the Wood fire Bloody Mary and the 1/4 chicken that came with it was delicious. I had their flat iron steak and ordered it rare and it definitely came to the table rare. I upgraded for an extra two dollars for their salad. Great quality for the $$$
What a beutiful place. The atmosphere was perfect.The host and waitress wereAwesome. The food was excellent.
I went to Grizzly’s with family on a Friday night. I had the baked fish special. The fish was a very small portion. The “smashed” potatoes were full potatoes placed on a plate. The order was mixed up with fries instead of veggies. When the veggies were brought they were not well cooked, just kind of thrown on the plate. The beer selection was pretty good and the rest of the family enjoyed the ribs and chicken, bacon, and avocado sandwich. Overall, it was not good.
Amazing cheese curds!! will get again! so good!! our server Bri is super friendly and answered my questions about the steaks and chicken to help me decide what to get. chicken was 10 stars amazing!! Bri is a 10 star server! Thank you so much!!
My husband and I walked into the restaurant and the waitress seated us right next to a large party at a long table of fifteen or more people with screaming infants and very young children. I told them to please find us a quieter area, so she sat us in the same room, two booths down. The child screamed and shrieked so loudly people were walking out. This lasted throughout our entire meal. Instead of asking this party to quiet down, they allowed them to ruin the evening for everyone else who trying to have a nice, quiet dinner.And to add to the nightmare, the music was heavy metal and it was quite loud.Now to the food. We ordered the chicken and steak fajitas. The food was drenched in oil/grease?, and the tortillas were cold, thin, and stuck together. The steak was very tough and gristly, and the chicken was undercooked.Do yourself a favor, and do not eat here.
