Probably one of the worst coffees I’ve ever had in my life but if you like half full coffees and watery espresso this is the place for you. Staff was kinda cold and unfriendly (the lady who took our order) the donuts were okay. Note this isn’t the first time I’ve had a coffee that’s half full. I hope staff can get some guidance to improve.
I am not usually one to give poor reviews. However, here I am giving one. I had relatively high hopes going into this place as my first college café, but I was really disappointed. The prices are extremely high. I ended up paying $8 for a pretty small smoothie called the Elvis which was bitter, chunky, and definitely not good. I ended up not even finishing half of it which is sad because it was expensive and I hate to waste food. I went there to meet with some friends and there was very little seating. What was there was spaced so awkwardly that carrying on a conversation was difficult. We still had a fine time, but I'm not planning to ever go back. Plus the whole place seemed very uppity - which I guess I should have expected since it is technically run by a fancy hotel. One plus side I guess was that they offered a 10% discount to students.
I seriously love this place, but they recently raised their prices to where a wrap and coffee is $21 It's just a bit much that it as much as a dinner anywhere else.
The coffee shop is inside of the Lismore hotel but it feels like it's own entity. Staff was very friendly and the peanut butter oatmeal with the blueberry topping was really good. I noticed that they have a lot of vegan food so if you're vegan this might be a good place to go. I had four cups of their coffee during my Two day stay. My third cup had an inordinate amount of grounds in the bottom, but that seem to be anomalous. Overall I'm satisfied with my experience.
Great place to come check out. And visit with friends.Breakfast was very good.
I called ECDC to put an order in at around 8:40am and was about 7-10 min away. The woman who answered the phone put us on hold saying she needed to finish helping a customer. We finally pulled up and was still on hold, we looked through the window and entire place was empty, the woman was on screwing around on her iPhone. So we went in to order the Northwoods Breakfast Burrito, which was an amazing burrito in the past and would have recommended it to anyone, however when we finally got our food it is HALF the size it use to be! These teeny tiny little burritos sat in front of me when I open the box. They use to come in these nice big boxes and now they come in these small boxes that would fit a McDouble in it. To top it off they are still charging about $9 for it! Its absolutely ridiculous. I feel scammed out of my money. On to the next place...
The mask stuff drives me nuts. But your staff and your drinks are top of the line. Coffee houses are kind of our families thing we love to do together when we are out and about and your shop is in our top 3 .
I love the wrap with the aioli sauce. Its just great. The coffee is good too (I usually get an americano). Location in downtown Eau Claire is wonderful if you're staying at the Lismore (same building complex)
The only place I will ever get my coffee! Amazing and super nice staff as well as amazing food and coffee!!
Latte hit the spot before my early morning departure. This is a perfect compliment while staying at the lismore. Staff was kind and quickly crafted my drink.Thank you all for being amazing!
