This restaurant used to be a packed-out place to go for a Friday night fish fry. I'm not sure what's happened, but this was not our experience last Friday. The walleye meal my husband ordered was underdone and the lyonnaise potatoes burned. I ordered a patty melt and the burger was burned, cold, and tasted freezer burned and past its date of freshness. The fries were cold and when I asked for a BLT instead, weren't replaced with fresh ones. The calzones ordered were covered with ranch inside and out, but that wasn't discussed on the menu. All in all, it was a pretty bad experience and an expensive lesson we won't be learning twice. Maybe the management or ownership will change, and it will be good food again. I hope so.

Staff is nice and the food was good

First time there. Fish fry was delicious. Lots of beer choices. Friendly service.

Great burgers and good service! Will definitely go back!

It was a very good meal the fish was cooked excellent the kids loved the food good job

Good food and good drinks. Warm environment. Service was excellent!

The wife and I stopped for a quick bite. It was a our first time here, we picked it on a whim, and we loved it. The service was exceptional for any day let alone a Friday night with a full house. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, courteous, accurate and fast. The food is absolutely delicious.I had a whiskey burger and the wife had a prime rib sandwich. We shared so we could see what was better, neither was better, both were amazing. My burger was honestly one of the best I have had anywhere, even one I might make at home. The prime rib sandwich was as good as you can get. Both different beasts and both amazing.I highly recommend this place and know we will be back often.

Excellent fish fry, crispy sweet potato fries, perfect cole slaw and friendly service. My husband said the burgers are wonderful.Nice atmosphere and a great beer menu too! Definitely going to stop back often.

We waited over an hour for our food and 2 tables that came in behind us were served 1st. our food finally came cold, the lynnaise potatos I ordered crispy came in a burnt, and I mean burnt, soggy heap with no onion, the fish wash like trying to eat a rubber ball, the bun was dried out, and we got no cole slaw. My friend ordered the same potatoes and got the same mess. She also ordered the baked cajun fish and got fish with some kind of seasoning plopped on top. She ordered a cup of hot water with lemon that she had to ask for 4 times and finally got it at the end of her meal. The service was as bad as the meal. When I asked to speak to a manager I was told there was no one there that could address my issues!! I wish I had taken a picture of this mess that they expected me to eat so I could have posted it. But needless to say I ate none of my meal, will never be back, and will not be recommending this place to anyone.

This place has really good food at very reasonable prices. Very good, friendly wait staff too. Friday fish fry & Saturday prime rib highly recommended!
