The quality of the food is impeccable and only exceeded by the quantity you get. What’s better than a TON of great food?The Southwestern omelet came hot and had the perfect mix of eggs to other ingredients. It was a great take on a southwestern-style dish without being overtly cliché.
We walked in and were immediately comfortable. What a friendly, clean place.Our waitress was informed and helpful and spot on.I had the corned beef hash with eggs and my friend had the BLT sandwich with sweet potato fries. Both meals were Huge and completely delicious! This restaurant was outstanding! Oh pancakes taste SO GOOD TOO!
I really loved the women at the bar today (white woman and a young Latina), excellent service. I gave 3 stars bc I ordered chilaquiles, and they were gross and looked like nachos. I've spent the last 6 years in Texas so I know good TexMex when I taste and see itIt was very salty and hardly any salsa. It resembled beef nachos.
A small part of our office works Saturday mornings. When I work, I try to bring in what the office staff would like, whether coffee and donuts from their favorite bakery or in this case breakfast skillets from Honey Berry. Unfortunately, Honey Berry does not tell you anywhere on their website, social media, or phone recording that they do not take to go orders on the weekend. Saturday morning, I was going to order the office breakfast, and pick it up on the way in and was left scrambling to find the closest thing to what the office people ordered at another breakfast place. Thank goodness there are many places that have similar menus, and I was able to take care of everyone at a smaller locally owned cafe and diner. It would probably be a good idea to post something on not accepting to gos on the weekends, so people knew that before hand. Unfortunately, I'll probably not be eating at or ordering Honey Berry anytime soon.
Definitely use Yelp to get on the waiting list. This place is busy, but it's because their food is so good. I got the fig and bacon omelet, not a combo I'd have thought of on my own, and it was excellent. So were the banana chocolate chip pancakes. The only negative was I got a cup of coffee and no one ever checked to see if I needed a refill
Loved it! The food was absolutely amazing, the atmosphere was very clean, open, and inviting, and the service was excellent despite it being busy. The online reservation system is a little misleading, as we reserved a table in advance and were told a time but still ended up waiting about 15-20min past that for a table. You'll definitely wanna reserve though as the wait list is LONG!. Everything else more than made up for it and totally understand why it is so popular! Portions were huge too and we ended up eating our pancakes, which were actually the side, and taking out egg entree dishes home for lunch later, which was pretty awesome. Under $40 for all this as well as juice and coffee.
My mother took me out for a new job celebration today! Thank you, If you could only see our faces when they brought this out. Everyone else too that walked past, it was huge......worth every penny, feed a whole family just from one plate if you wanted to "Not"..it couldn't even fit in the take home box after eating some. Everything was fresh on the specialty berry pancakes and the chicken was seasoned perfectly with just a lil heat balanced well with the syrup and waffles. The establishment is bright with lots of space, T.Vs, views outside and comfortable setting and atmosphere for any occasion.
The presentation of the food was amazing, however I was less than thrilled with the taste. I ordered oreo waffles, which had a goop of marshmallow on top which made it inedible for me. Our server did replace it with a plain waffle for me. My son however had the oreo pancakes which he thought were good. Also, the restaurant charges a 3% surcharge to offset COVID restrictions which I didn't find out about to until I got my bill. However they will remove the surcharge upon request. I would try them again just not for waffles.
