Have to give it to the new owners for turning this restaurant around. The staff, relaxing atmosphere, live music, and the food was very good. Our fifth of sixth time and not disappointed. The salmon was cooked perfectly as was the fried e.
Oh my gosh! I'm in love!, We ordered for pickup and had Fried shrimp it was large shrimp amazing flavor at that! Baked potato, Cooked lg carrots, zucchini and green beans all cooked just right not mushy! My dinner was awesome! My husband ordered the fried fish which was also very delicious with salad and red potatoes which very great fish fry not greasy just right! This is our 3rd time ordering from Boulder Junction we have always gotten a fabulous tasting meal!!Thank you we are hooked on you now!!We will be back frequently in the future!!?
We had a wonderful dinner after my mother in laws funeral service. David was absolutely amazing with service, knowledge and professionalism! I can't believe how fast our food arrived. Some of the best food around.
The staff at Boulder Junction did an amazing job for our group of 27. Our waiter David was fantastic. The food was great and everybody was pleased. Thank you so much for making the celebration of my Mothers life special!
Everyone on our Saturday night visit thought the food was above average, as were the prices, but so is everybody. The downside was the rushed service.Soups and salad came before we had a chance to touch our appetizer, and our entrées arrived before we had a chance to eat the soup and salad. When I spend $300 to feed four people, at least give me the time to eat the damn food. On a lesser note, they advertise live music at 5:30 PM which influenced our arrival time, but apparently the piano player decided to not show up. Mildly disappointing. I may probably try Boulder Junction one more time before I completely blow it off.
Ordered the prime rib special. Bread, prime rib, potatos and vegetables were cold. Asked for medium rare/rare. What I got was medium and after he reheated it, I ended up with well done. After about 2 minutes the food was back to cold again. When I complained, he threw in free coffee... What a joke. Will never go back
Ordered one of the takeout specials, cheeseburger with lettuce, tomato, onion and steak fries. Burgers were large, tasty, cooked to order. Love the steak fries, crispy outside, tender inside. We opened the takeout container several times to let steam out...hate soggy fries. Such a good deal for takeout. We will be back for the indoor dining!
Rustic Texas type atmosphere. Live musician/singer during dinner for background music. COVID plexiglass partitions really took away from rustic vibe. Very distracting and unnecessary. Staff all wearing masks. Maybe a Milwaukee requirement? 01/14/22Steak dinners might be expensive as you would expect but some great specials. 1/2 of a delicious rotisserie chicken dinner for $17 or $20 sirloin & rotisserie chicken combo dinner. I'll take that $3 steak thank you! Dinner was delicious including baked French onion soup upgrade.We were warned that they were understaffed when we made our reservations but service was excellent. Better than some fully staffed restaurants that I've been to.Remove the COVID BS and the review changes to 5 stars.
Visited with our family and had a great meal! Good range of choices for the whole family - from burgers to salads to fish. All meals were tasty. They also graciously accommodated our request to split meals. Social distancing in the dining room was good, too!
Food was the best! Prepared perfectly! Service was exceptional!!!. Our daughter is very sensitive to gluten and dairy and the team advised what she could and could not have. Felt very safe! We will certainly return.Thank you!
