Good food, great service!
Good food, the owner is rude, never a hello, how’s the food? Have a nice day, evening. Looked him straight in the face “good morning” !!! Walked right past me. I don’t care how busy your day is, how many hours you work, you are a business man and own a restaurant, make your PAYING customers feel appreciated. I’m not going to patronize an establishment where I don’t feel welcome. Plenty other places to go.
There soup and sandwiches are great but their fries, chips and potatoe pancakes are always burnt. Whoever is deep frying is leaving all those food items in to long.I've tried it over 5 times and always to dark (burnt).Otherwise good restaurant.
Unbelievable results!! This has been an incredible experience from day one This wasn't my first time but honestly I didn’t know what to expect when I first joined. While the food was decent, the server we had was not good. We tried several times to make her smile, but she never did. It looked as if we were bothering her. FINALLY towards the end of our meal, she smiled a little, probably because we were leaving soon.
Simple menu covers all the necessary bases. Food is great with friendly, attentive service. Decor and atmosphere is a solid step up from the past.
Food is good, atmosphere is fine for both adults and kids. The bartenders are nice, except for one, the owner. We used to frequent this place a lot more often when it was Slim's, since we live right down the road. However, I have been waited (bartended) on by Bobby 3 separate times over the past 2 years, and each time, he was quite unfriendly. No hello, no friendly banter, no smile, just gives the beer and walks away. I'm not asking to be catered to, but come on, if you're bartending, you can't have an arrogant, corporate personality towards your customers. I've never had this issue with his staff, just him. We'll probably stick to just ordering take out there from now on, but I have no interest in being belly up to the bar there ever again.
Pretty good fish fry, fries were soggy though. I realize they were slammed on Friday about 5:30 and only one cook on duty. Waitress was nice.
We just moved to the Falls and found this gem right away. Been there multiple time as it's a nice place to eat & drink with friendly atmosphere.$4 Makers Mark old fashions are a must on Wednesdays/Saturdays!
Have visited Slims Mcginns west but this was my 1st visit to Bobby's. Very happy we went. Bobby was extremely happy to see us, professional and went out of hi way to make us feel welc,and provided exceptional service! We will be back!
