Awesome food and friendly staff
The bartenders are friendly and mostly love our Wisconsin teams. I recommend the French onion soup as an appetizer, the cheese topping is ooey goodness with a large crouton under that cheesy layer. The spicy lucy is wonderful, the smell when you cut it open is reminiscent of chilies rellenos, and who can resist fresh guacamole! The Philly cheesesteak has the perfect amount of peppers. The fries aren’t very crispy, but they have that homemade potato taste. If you’re looking for hard cider, they only have cider boys.
Burger was great that I ordered, and the regular fries are also good. Everything else we ordered was a bit of a let down unfortunately. Ordered chips and they were soggy, squishy, and cold like old forgotten french fries. Loaded fries had about a gallon of ranch on them which just took away from what flavors were hiding underneath. This time I went the service was actually pretty good which was a pleasant surprise compared to my first few visits. The place was clean inside and food came out at a decent rate even though they were pretty busy.
My husband and I met some family for lunch yesterday, after visiting their website and checking out their menu, I was excited to try these stuffed burgers. We each tried a different type of burger with fries and the chips. The burgers were just ok! I don't understand how this place has "the best burgers"...they are $12 dollars and are probably 5 oz of meat! The taste was okay, but nothing to ride home about. We were all a little disappointed. There is too much extra bread and the bun is just ok. The chips were gross! No salt on them and they tasted burnt.Fries were good and the guacamole was good. However the portions were nothing. My spicy burger only came with about 1/2 teaspoon on it and 4 jalapenos. Our server kept bothering us ( I always appreciate an overly attentive server), she started interrupting every 2 minutes once we received our meal and we still had to ask for drink refills and clearing of empty dishes! The Mediterranean mule was really good, but once again overpriced for the smallest mule mug I have seen in Wisconsin. We like our big WI drinks! :) Will not be back...such a shame, the decor is really cool and the location is great for access along downtown shops. Next time, skip Lucy's and head over to Doc's ;)
We've been going to Lucy's #7 since it open, we always had a good meal until recently. The last 3 times we have gone it has not been good, the spicy burger use to be stuffed with cheese and jalapenos now they just put a few jalapenos on top. The Sammy patty use to be thick with delicious sauce on it, now it was so thin I felt I was just eating a salty bun. The loaded fries and the beer selection are still good. It will be along time before we go back again.
Going on a Saturday evening , there was a little bit of a wait. You are greeted with a friendly hostess and waited on by a very friendly wait staff. Lucy's is known for their stuffed burgers, stuffed with cheese that is!! They have several different burgers to choose from, with varying delicious options. They have specialty drinks and micro brews to enjoy, and help wash the burgers down. The food is delicious, the drinks cold, and the crew is super friendly. Important note, save room for dessert, they have a warm chocolate chip cookie served with ice cream and strawberry shortcake served with a tasty warm biscuit!! I highly recommend Lucy's #7.
Good vibe bar and restaurant, veggie burger and salmon burger are delicious for those who are looking for the vegetarian option, drinks are good too ?
It was fine. I wouldn’t say amazing. I was looking forward to awesome burgers like people have said, and found them average. Fries were also ok.
Amazing burgers. You can taste the freshness. No frozen or pre-prepared patties being used here.My drink was great too. Purple Haze, if I remember correctly.
Excellent! The burger were great and so was the atmosphere! Wonderful time back in my home town?
