It was the first time we had been there for at least seven years. The new owners have done a really nice job of renovating the inside and revamping the menu. Had a brandy old fashioned sweet and the appitizer Chicken Skewer with Chile Lime Ranch dip. Both were very good and the prices were reasonable.
$22 for a fish fry in Wisconsin. I don't think so! Great prestintatio.. everything but fish 3 3oz cod loins that was over cooked. . Captain Jack's! Ypur not going to make it!
It looks really nice inside with the lighting and decor. Very welcoming staff and great atmosphere. I ordered the shrimp spinach and artichoke dip and it came with pita chips. Omg loved it. The shrimps are jumbo, the spinach and artichoke had a great flavor and the golden buttery pita chips were so delicious. Going to order the stuffed chicken breast dinner next as it seems to be a hit with staff and others.
LOVE the transformation! Haven't been here in quite some time, and we were throughly amazed! Tablecloths and cloth napkins! Completely refreshed. So cute. And the menu! Amazingly upscale. The onion blossom was HUGE and better than any ive had. Burgers were always known here...but have now gone next level. Truffle fries were beyond! Extremely friendly staff. Our waitress was adorable. Wishing the new owners all the best and i look forward to coming back again...and again!One note i saw from another reviewer that struck me as well...$22 for 3 pieces of cod will not lure me for Friday night. Maybe bluegill or walleye, but not cod. Thank you!
Ordered burgers 3 separate times and they are some of the best I've had in a very long time. (Sorry 88 lol your's were still damn good)Fries were good also just wish u could get onion rings as a side too. Girlfriend had the truffle fries and loved them as well. The cheese sticks are pretty damn good too. Did notice the fish fry was pretty pricey but haven't had it. May wanna bring the price down a little to compete with other places near by otherwise you may lose out on the Friday night crowd. Gonna go try something different tonight so we'll see how it goes. ?
Entrance thru dark bar area rather dark but loved the Friday fish fry in the bright upscale dining area. Excellent squared cheese curds & mango shrimp appetizers!!

The food here is seriously yummy and the wait staff are friendly and attentive. Will definitely be back! Have the truffle fries, they’re delicious!
