Gave me wretched food poisoning. How do I know it was TJs? I didn't eat anything else. I'm pretty sure it was the street tacos that made me vomit all night then spend hours on the toilet as well. My gf had soft shells (just normal soft shells) and she didn't get sick. But I had those street tacos.......... It's been 24 hours and I'm still leaking basically.Thanks TJsI'm never ordering from here again.
The food is always as expected. Not incredible and not bad either. The service is fair and the time to get food is reasonable. Between this location and the one in Oshkosh, I prefer the Oshkosh location. The Appleton location is more convenient to me, and I haven't had a "bad" experience there. With Covid, (I hate even using that term) the best part of taco John's, the fresh Pico bar, isn't open. That one thing alone is the biggest reason I go there. Without it, they're basically a less popular version of taco bell, with tatter tots, only considered in any way to he Mexican food because of being named the Ole'. They're still just a tatter tot, and without the fresh Pico, they're far less impressive.
Normally taco John's is pretty good, they should update their hours if they're closed at 10. 7days a week now.
The app was great n easy to use. The food was cold. So I don't know if that iscyhe way they make the tacos and burritos. I won't be going back.
Went through drive through with 2 really large orders and special instructions they were really friendly and patient, I only had to wait maybe 10 minutes max and the orders were correct. Good price for what we all got and the food was really good. The staff was really great about the large orders and Special orders. It was my first time here and I'll be back!
I have never been to a Taco John's but I am very happy with my experience. All of the food is tasty much better than Taco Bell for sure. The service was great super friendly and fast. The space is also very clean. Good job John keep up the good work.
The potato oles are so addictive. Staff is always friendly and the food is very nice quality. Way better than TB and worth the drive. Nacho sauce is great too!
Open Sunday! Around here some have closed on Sunday due to staffing. It is typical Taco Johns, but the employees were very nice.
The taco bowl I got wasn't bad but the burritos I got were supposed to be beef. I went to eat them and it tasted like refried beans and I am confused on what I am smelling. It's very heavy and not very appetizing almost like my food came right out of the trash. Really made me lose my appetite especially since I went right after I got off a long shift of work. I wanted tacos after not having them since I came up here for school and decided to try a local place. But that might be a mistake. I think next time I'll try my luck with taco Bell. Not saying this place is bad but be careful what you get and what time you get it. ?
The food was great it was a bit pricey, after realizing it was taco Tuesday I would have gotten my order a bit cheaper if someone had mentioned they had a special going on.
