We come to Appleton to visit our daughter and son in law. While they are at work, we head over for a fabulous breakfast and visit with the friendly staff. Absolutely love this homey place.
Paul, the waitresses, staff & workers are all very personable, friendly & efficient. ? The horseshoe seating bars allow for friendly conversation with other diners - if you desire.? We find most are receptive to chatting about many various topics. You can find something in common to chat about. The comfort food is freshly made, from the delicious customizable omelettes, skillet meals and of course the decadent pies. Mmm the Banana Cream - where the whipped cream buries the pie. ? The staff keep your coffee filled, chat w you - if you want, and finished plates are cleared quickly.
There are a lot of places that cook a good breakfast but none as good as Schreiber's. They clearly are not cooking from a can. The pancakes and American fries are great.
Cozy diner with an open concept kitchen and delicious breakfast food. I highly recommend the #3 and add on the American Fries, fresh potatoes daily. ❤️
Good home style food, made well. I have only been twice for breakfast but the service and food quality is really amazing. The breads are not artisan, but the potatoes are cooked to perfection, not too much or too little. Eggs over easy are cooked but the yolks still run. On top of this the inside is nostalgic but clean and very well kept. Don't miss out on this place.

One of the best Breakfast I have ever had. Very nice and polite and the pancakes are to die for. I would highly recommend. We need them to move to Des Moines.
