Dirty store, staff never greeted us they just talked to each other the whole time, very unprofessional. Order was wrong, was overcharged and nobody even apologized for it. The first table you see is filled with snacks from staff and the table looks extremely dirty. Can't believe the deterioration of this amazing sandwich shop! Only 2 stars earned for the actual food...they either skimped out or they haven't been trained how to make sandwiches properly. I was an employee for 5 years at a different location and I cannot believe how one of the last standing stores in Wisconsin, looks and feels like this. Each Schlotzskys store is separately owned so to the owner: get yourself a better professional crew that can actually keep loyal customers!! Would hate to see you shut down because of all these bad experiences. It's 100% the staff you keep!! Customer service should be a #1 priority right now because of skyrocketing prices!!!
Terrible staff, got there at 10:35 and they still were not open. Staff was walking around inside. When they final opened their doors, there was NO greeting. We stood there for 5-10 minutes and still no one acknowledged us, one employee was behind the counter and walked away. Two other employees were talking to each other and still no one said a word to us. We walked out. Grant it, I know there is an employee shortage. But come on, not even a greeting or acknowledge that we are there! That is REALLY bad!
I went with a friend for lunch. She got a calzone and said it was very good. I got a deluxe original sandwich it was just ok. I still prefer Jimmy John's over Schlotzky's.
Terrible customer service and follow through. Food is good but this place is not worth the terrible customer service. They have messed up orders and I have chalked it up to bad employees or tough time hiring but today I called in to put in an order and was hold for over 5 minutes. Heard people talking in the back ground and just shooting the you know what. I called back and nothing happened. Went to a voice mail or fax number. Asked to speak to a manager and the guy was clueless as to what is going on. Save your time and spend your money elsewhere.
Food is good. Daytime service usually good. Night service is poor. Inattentive employees. Not busy yet dining room always a mess. Incorrect orders. I like the food but will start avoiding late hours. Too many visits confirm it's a trend.
you need to try any variety of Chicago area sandwich places to rate these... you'll see how bland, tasteless & boring these were. extremely small sized too. sad we spent $20 for our 2 sandwiches.
This is my favorite restaurant! My husband and I met at a Schlotzskys!! These sandwiches are amazing!! Always clean, fast, and friendly.
I called to see how long they were open because I'm pregnant and wanted a cinnabon so bad. They said they are open until 7, got there a little after 6 and I was the only customer in the shop. Was ignored for a long time until someone finally came to the front counter and informed me they stop serving Cinnabon at 530... why would you stop serving an hour and a half before you close. ?
Friendly and efficient service here. Food is always fresh and delicious. Even when the place is busy, they move people through in an efficient manner.
It is an original Shlotskeys so it is pretty good and worth a trip. Like so many places now a little pricy but it is clean and the food is good. Definitely better than some of the other sandwich places around and it is close to the mall.
