The best grilled chicken caesar salad I've ever had.
Nah. Not a fan. Kind of expensive for the quality of the food overall. I've been here twice and don't recommend it except the cheese curds, those were good with the ranch. Sitting outside, the views are nice of the bridge by the sparkling flowing water and dam, but the food is not great. The the flower garden is very pretty. They have very few vegetarian options and the marinade on the chicken is weird tasting. Their house chips & fries are way too salty. They should really get rid of straws or at least ask people if they even want them before just putting them in our cups. Wasteful.
Food was excellent, drinks were good, pricing was reasonable for location and atmosphere.If you are looking to enjoy outdoor seating check beforehand how bad the bugs will be. Especially the mayflies right off of the river.Overall a great dinning experience would highly recommend.Also, the flavored “Mule” selection is extensive and a reason to visit all by itself.
I went there for a dinner with office colleagues. Its huge. They have different sitting spaces in various ambiences. All sitting spaces are beautiful. The service quick.The only bad thing was the beer. It was flat. No gas at all. Food was great. I ordered a shrimp platter and it was great. So were onion rings.Great place for a meal in Appleton
Had lunch and food and service were really good. I'm guessing one of the better restaurant choices in area and I liked how it was right on the river. Probably a cool place to grab drinks since the bar area was huge.
Had a great dinner here. The food was excellent. The service by Terrance was exceptional. The view was great and prices were reasonable. Would highly recommend Pullmans for an exceptional dining experience.
Loved the Fried Haddock, wife loved her Trolley Salad, our starter (sorry - no pic) was the combo platter (Chicken, Onion Rings, and cheese curds - all fried). If you like fried foods, you'll love this. Service was great. Atmosphere was relaxing and easy to have a conversation. Definitely a recommended place to eat...
Food is always amazing. However, the staff today around 2PM was rude, inattentive, and extremely judgmental. The only person that was polite was the hostess. She was wonderful. Our server and other servers around us, different story. I have always loved this restaurant, but today’s experience makes me question ever going back. I hope my waitress from today learns talk to people with more respect and not stand in a corner talking to other servers about her customers that can hear….
Dec 2021 After a day of Christmas shopping, my niece, who lived in Appleton, recommended Pullmans for dinner. We didn't have a single complaint. The portions were large and the food was hot and delicious. Our waitress was very attentive, fixing any issue we had, brought us extra napkins when requested, drink refills, etc. And she was dressed appropriately. We didn't have to guess who the wait-staff were and who the customers were (happens in a lot of restaurants now days). I would definitely go back every time I am in Appleton.
The atmosphere was enjoyable. Didn't feel rushed. Our waiter was very busy but made sure we were taken care of! Try the blackened salmon- really delicious...
