Not sure this is the normal experience, but we waited at least 20 minutes to have someone take our order inside. This wasn't waiting in a line of people. The staff was filling their online and drive-thru orders first. After ordering, the food came out really quickly, though. However, we didn't really enjoy the food. The chicken strips were really greasy and cold and had very little chicken in them. They were mostly thick, hard breading. The tables in the restaurant were dirty, and the ketchup packets and drink lids were covered in a sticky substance. They may have been busier than usual since so many other restaurants were already closed. The staff was working hard. Kudos to them.
Ordered a shrimp combo with a large mac n cheese. received NO mac n cheese and overcooked chewy shrimp. their fish sandwich is awesome but I haven’t been able to get it the last few times I went, no idea if it’s seasonal or something or if they were just out of it. disappointed.
This is the worst drive thru I’ve ever experienced. If there are 3 cars in front of you expect at 30+ minute wait and when you do finally get to order, you just sit there in silence for 12 minutes. No one talks to you. If you ask if anyone is there, the staff are extremely rude telling you to wait. I understand they’re understaffed but there is absolutely ZERO communication. I’m literally still stuck here as we speak! Did this whole review and still yet to order.
Sunday was graduation for our grandson and his food choice for the reception was Popeyes...The gathering for approximately 50 people was scheduled for 12:15. The food was scheduled to be picked up at 11:30. When my son drove in to pick up the order for 200 pcs of chicken, potatoes, gravy, mac and cheese, biscuits, coleslaw, - there was no record of the order. The employee on duty, Jeremiah, immediately said: "we will take care of it" and proceeded to pull it together. Kudos to Jeremiah! The food was in the car and on the way to the celebration by 12:08!!Everything was hot and delicious! Hurrah for Jeremiah - he saved the day.
Pretty decent for fast food. I like the Cajun spices this chain uses, really adds some appreciated flavor and heat to certain items. Ordered at 9pm on a Thursday and food was delivered well-packed and contained everything ordered.
45 minutes + trapped in the drive thru. laziest employees imaginable, absolutely incompetent. never again. save your time and go somewhere else. would give 0 stars if possible. this place should not be in business.
Waited 20 minutes in line, while they didn't take any orders only to be told they only had bone in chicken left and technically closed 4 minutes before we got to order. That's after I went in and asked them if they were going to taste the orders of the people waiting and they assured me they would. Terrible customer service
I was told 15 minute wait for anything at the drive thru. I understand chicken takes longer than burgers, but chicken anywhere else doesn't take 15 minutes. Then you're trapped in the drive thru lane after you decide not to wait 15 minutes. This was the first time I tried this location, and almost didn't go because of the other bad reviews. I never learn.
Love Popeyes Chicken. Sent hubby to pick up lunch. Only got a 4 because there was no Hottie sauce. But liked the Sweet Heat sauce that was suggested!
Just got a large order and no real complaints on the food except I figured I would try the chicken sandwich for the first time, first bite was good but the second bite I bit down on bone, pulled it apart and it was a bone in thigh. Called and talked to manager and was not looking for much but maybe a replacement the next time I stopped in but right away he tells me there's no way there is a bone-in piece of chicken in the sandwich that is sitting right in front of me, and when I tell him there is he still says I am wrong but that he'll make it right if I bring it back across town, not worried about the sandwich pulled the bread off and finished the THIGH of bone in chicken, my issue is that he thinks I'm trying to get a free sandwich and how he treated the situation was off putting and as in reading the other reviews here they got to get their game together or it will end up like sonic.
