I was in there on Saturday, June 4. I only had an iced tea So my review is not about food. I went to use the ladies room just before I left the restaurant and discovered there was absolutely no toilet paper in the stall I was in even though there was a spot for two rolls. Having been a supervisor for a cleaning company I cannot understand how there could not be at least one roll of toilet paper in each stall when there is room to have two rolls. Thank God I had Kleenex in my purse or I honestly do not even know what I would have done. I went up to the desk just to let one of the ladies know that someone should put toilet paper in the ladies room and after waiting a few minutes for their attention, there were two of them standing there, they seemed totally disinterested.
So I had gone here before, prior to this most recent visit. If you're looking for a place that will give you smaller servings of a more fast-food type food this is not your place. If you are looking for a place that will give you a very well priced, hearty, wonderfully tasting meal, then this is your place. My parents have been together for I believe over 30 years now and until the last time I was here with them, they had never been there before. I know for a fact they were impressed with the serving size of their food as well as how well priced it was for the amount they got. I can almost guarantee with 100% certainty that they would return. As always the staff is very friendly, the food is wonderful, and the environment is soft and gentle, almost gives you an at home feel. I couldn't recommend this enough. A must try forsure!P.S.You NEED to try their chicken dumpling soup.
Awesome food customer friendly
We went there as a family last Friday and the waitress that we got she was really bad and rude to us. I wanted to order a breakfast because I love these breakfast and she snap back at me and for me to order something else so I just ask her what is a good deal for me today she said all the fish you can eat for$17 and some changes all 4 of us order the all you can eat fish. We sat there for about 45 min after we were done eating before she came back around to see if we needed anything else just bring me bill. I will give it 11/2 stars

The omelets were great. Service was quick. Took my daughter for her birthday, but it was evident. This is an old folks restaurant. But there's big enough tables to take a family. The coffee was good and they delivered on crispy hash browns. Two thumbs up

Edited/increased my original rating due to a misunderstanding of my own - but I still have to say the food is not what it used to be. Very disappointed with my dumpling soup. The dumplings were super heavy and nasty this time. I was also surprised to find no chicken in the soup. To be fair, when I double checked, the packaging didnt specifically say that it contained chicken. Which in the past was apparently fine with me & not noticeable. But when the dumplings are no good AND you realize there’s no meat, it becomes disappointing real quick.The service was good though. I appreciated that.
Very nice and clean place. The food was good. The wait staff was very good, had to ask for a couple things 2 times but she was very good. I do recommend eating here.
