Very delicious food, and drinks! Our waitress Sara was excellent as well. Will definitely be back! ?

We had our meal on a Tuesday evening. our meals, drinks and service were excellent. Every time we have gone to Mark's the food and drinks have been great as expected.

Trying Mark’s fish fry for the first time, this was our second visit to this establishment. Was seated immediately, which was nice. Ordered two drinks, which arrived promptly. Both of us ordered AYCE fish fry, which comes with fries, slaw, tartar sauce, and a roll. For the price ($16), it would be nice to have choice of potato, which is common at many places. Food arrived very quickly. Fish was acceptable, although not very hot and a bit dry. One of us had requested a baked potato, and it wasn’t hot enough to even melt a pat of butter. Slaw was very good, and the rolls seemed fresh. Requested one more piece of fish, and it arrived good and hot, and it wasn’t dry like the first batch. Overall, satisfactory, but not memorable. Service was prompt and courteous. ?

The prime rib and the pan sauce were cooked perfect. The selection of traditional German dishes looked excellent but I was happy birthday that night. The cocktail waitress Liz was pleasant and efficient and managed to handle anxious customers waiting to eat with Grace. The only slight disappointment was the twice baked potato.

Very friendly staff, hard working! I’ve heard from my husband, who loves this restaurant, that the owner goes out of his way to remember the names of customers, which is quite impressive, but I’m not a German food lover so I’d not go back. I enjoyed the sauerkraut ball appetizer but my perch was overcooked. My husband always enjoys the schnitzel and spetzla.

There were 15 people in our group. We tried a variety of food and none disappointed. The service was great, The wait staff friendly and efficient. The food served timely, hot and delicious. Will definitely return!

First time visiting Mark's East Side. The staff were great, very friendly. Our meals were awesome! I'm not sure why we've never been prior to now. We definitely will be returning.

We have eaten at Mark's a few times, but not within the last 3 years. We looked forward to eating German food, but boy, it was so disappointing. Th schnitzel was greasy and was not crispy. It was a pale gold and the breading was a bit mushy. The cabbage was good, but tasted a bit like it was from a jar. The potato dumplings were dense and bland. The mushroom gravy was very good, but quite salty. Just underwhelmed. I doubt we will return. Be prepared for tables packed closely together. Service was good.
