Very delicious Pad Thai and their spring rolls and crab rangoon are amazing too and great service!!
I’m writing this review at 11:30 at night because I can’t sleep, because I have a sore throat, from eating at Mai’s Deli. I ordered the Pad Cashew around 4 PM this afternoon. I’ve had the Pad cashew before and liked it. Today however, the second bite I took had a full chili pepper in it. I didn’t know it was a chili pepper, chili pepper is not listed on the menu board, and I don’t eat chili peppers, I though it was a piece of well done chicken. Instantly my mouth, tongue, and throat were burning, my face turned red, and it hurt just to breath. I drank my Thai iced tea to try and cool it off but it wasn’t enough. When the tea was gone I had to suck on the ice to keep the pain manageable. There was a second whole chili pepper in the Pad cashew, but it didn’t matter, I couldn’t eat anything with the burning in my mouth and throat. We told the cashier about the pepper and she didn’t know if it should be there or not. I told her I’ve had it before, with no chili pepper, and she said maybe they were out of chili peppers the previous time I ordered it. There is no warning on the menu board that this is a hot dish. Is this a cruel joke to see if the old guy can handle super hot food?? I’ve been dining out, and eating at Mai’s Deli, form many years, and have never had an experience like this. And then the callous way the cashier treated my agony was the last straw. Even after telling the cashier about the bad Pad cashew, that I only had two bites of, she didn’t offer a refund or different dish, or a new Pad cashew.
Stuffed chicken wings are DELICIOUS! fresh and unique. I suggest you order ahead. Construction in area can make it difficult to reach by car. I parked across the street by railroad track and walked over
Probably one of the best Southeast Asian food places I've been to and probably one of the best Pho places I've had in the country. For the price you pay, the portion sizes are fantastic (or maybe I'm just used to bad portion sizes at mediocre Pho places) but the price for extra noodles was pleasantly low. This place was a wonderful find considering the limited options for good Asian food up here in the Appleton area. Only comment was the Thai iced tea was too sweet for my taste but that was just me forgetting to ask for less sugar.
Went through Appleton today. Was introduced to this place 4 years ago don't know what happened but things WEREN'T the same ! Everything and I mean Everything was bland and tasteless had their special stuffed chicken wing ...bland ! Had spring rolls those also were bland !...he'd the Pha combo tasted so bland I think they used the same piece of meat to cook about 7 pots of soup !. So disappointed was really looking forward to going back even went out of rought to go ! . Don't know if they changed hands or became afraid of seasonings or forgot the recipes from 4 years ago ! .
Great Food! Wonderful new experience!
First time eating here. Great authentic Thai food. Good selection and fresh ingredients and each of our dishes delicious. Great to order and share.
Food is amazing here and the price is reasonable. The cashier is so friendly and they bring out the food quickly. I would highly recommend for everyone else.
Came here and got the stuffed wings, egg rolls and crab ragoon!! Everything was made fast and fresh. Great flavors and taste. Price isn't bad at all either.
Happened upon this place and decided to give it a try. Phenomenal fresh food in a clean and tidy place. Loved the drunken noodles and the stuffed chicken wings. Can't wait to go back and try other menu items! Honestly this place has some of the best southeast Asian food we have had. Has Thai iced tea too. Yum!
