I really like this restaurant. I think they have wonderful food, and I think the service is outstanding. I have been here a few times now, and I have been warmly greeted and made to feel welcome each time. Everyone that I have met so far; bartenders, servers, and chefs, have all been very friendly people. The atmosphere is also nice; authentic, relaxing, and good music.
We ordered dinner from this restaurant last night with delivery through DoorDash. The wait time was 45ish minutes but we were ok with that being Friday night. Our dasher got there to pick up the food and the restaurant had not even started it. She messaged us to say there would be a delay. Ok, we can be patient. Forward to 1/2 hour later, dasher checks in with waitress who says they are wrapping it up now. Yay!! Wait even longer.. Dasher messaged me she will deliver in 5 minutes and we’re so dang hungry but ecstatic. Boom!! We then get a message indicating that our order was CANCELED and our money was refunded. Tried to contact the restaurant to no answer and obviously no way to contact the dasher. HUGE disappointment. Can’t even review the food given that we NEVER got it.
The worst service ever. My family and I sat at our table without drinks for almost an entire hour, NOT EXAGGERATING. Food ended up coming out prior to our drinks and half of our order was either missing OR cold. The food that was prepared hot and correct was very good but it DOES NOT make up for the LACK of service. I had also placed a to go order that consisted of tacos and a chimichanga … if it wasn’t for my sister checking the to go bag that was handed off to me I would have taken home chicken strips and fries ? I spent a good $100 this evening and am so disappointed.Update: The chimichanga that I PAID for was not included in my takeout out boxes, they actually gave me an empty box!?
Great restaurant! ...and great store. Love the selection of meat in their deli/meat dept. ...and the hot food for on the go. Amazing. Its great to have all these products in one spot.Recently, we bought carnitas (shredded pork) and made tortas (sandwiches). All the items in the photo can be purchased at the store plus a lot more hot food. For example: tamales, carne seca, chicharrones, menudo, and so much more. Can't recommend it enough. Plus the family that runs the place - great people!
Service was horrible tonight! Over charged for drinks. I think she just pocketed the cash for the buy one get margarita that we were supposed to get. Burrito, quesadilla ramen thing, 2 margaritas $50?? Probably going to skip this place next time if I see that server working again!
Sorry no pictures to post, I had a huge Burrito with all the veggies. The boss had big plate of beef, flank steak (very tender). Shrimp, rice, beans and veggies. So good almost ate the whole thing. No# 1son; Tearney and grandson to us out for dinner this evening. What a treat and very good. Way to much food, but we will be back again some day.
Terrible service for our take-out order. Arrived at the time it should have been done, and ended up standing and waiting at the checkout another 30 minutes without any of the workers giving an update or saying when it would be ready. They have good mole sauce, but will not be ordering again.
Delicious food, fast service, server remembered our whole order without writing it down; even our food allergies. Server offered a taste of one of the sodas we were hesitant about. We will definitely be coming back to the restaurant and to the connected market. She graciously helped us practice our Spanish.
We ordered chicken and pork tacos and the meat was so dry we needed a drink to choke it down. We also ordered the queso and it costs $10 and only came with a small brown bag of chips filled half way. Waste of money.
Ask for Maritza, she's a beyond wonderful waitress. The food was amazing. The Mole was incredible, the dish Maritza suggested was devoured, and no one went home hungry or cranky. The atmosphere is nice, restaurant looked very clean, and the staff were fantastic. 10/10 would recommend again
