The food is usually good when we go there but this time the food and service was terrible. I ordered 9 wings and when the order came out it was chicken strips and I took them.back up and the clerk was going to bill me more for the mistake he made.i said I wasn't paying the difference I'd rather go hungry so in a bad tone called the owner up to the counter and he argued with me instead of making it right he just gave me my money back. And in about 15 minutes the clerk bought a bag and threw it on the table which were half cooked wings . I wont be going back anytime soon.
JD's is always a great place to stop but this time they were a little "off". We ordered a banana shake and the outside of the cup was a mess, no napkins offered and no straw was given either. Also ordered a cone and it was sadly leaning so far that we had to use our hands to stabilize the ice cream. Assuming they were new employees working as this place is normally crushing it!!
Went here a few days ago as I am in Appleton for 3 weeks due to work. Onion rings and fries were good, burger was not.
I have been eating at JD’s all my life. Delicious food at a great price! Friendly staff! Love this place.
One of my favorite fast food drive throughs in the area. They prices they have are almost too good to be true, and the quality of most of their food seems much better then other well known fast food joints.Plus if you like root beer floats they have them buy one get one.
The food is great and tasty. The service was friendly and speedy and the menu prices are reasonable.
Service is quick for has busy as they get. Food is good, and JD's burgers taste like a burger should. We drive 6 miles just to go here for dinner two, or three times a month.
Phenomenal service and excellent food! It’s hard to find that combination these days. It was busy the day we stopped in for lunch and they took care of everyone quickly and professionally. You could tell they all cared. Would highly recommend!
Im from out of town, but I come to Appleton a lot to visit family. I absolutely love going here, the staff is full of young, sincerely polite, hard workers. The food is delicious and extremely affordable. I only wish they would open one in Madison so I could come more often.
JD's is a no frills but solid quality locally owned non-franchise food and ice cream place.place. Prices are reasonable and the quality for what you pay is top notch. With an excellent variety of burgers, sandwiches, and sides, along with "healthy" (it's 96% fat free!) soft serve, everyone can find something to enjoy. What truly sets JD's apart is JD's insistence on hard-working staff members, putting JDs a step above your other local fast-food restaurants.
