My fiancé and I love going there. Such a nice variety of food. I even convinced my mom to go and she isn't big on Chinese but I told her it's not all Chinese. They have a great salad bar and pizza. And she even tried the peanut butter chicken and liked it.
Very flavorful, doesn't all taste the same like other Chinese restaurants. They did not have a lot of food on buffet and what was there was old and dried out from being out so long. Nobody would eat this stuff. Will try another place.
Very good steamed dumplings. Sushi is edible at best. Atmosphere is beautiful and welcoming. The hot tea is delicious. The other food I had was OK. Not worth $16 in my opinion
Pricing info: all kids 9 and under are charged $10 each for dinner. We called before going after seeing negative reviews about the cost for kids and glad we did! My 3 year old and almost 1 year old is not worth $10 each at any buffet!! My husband and I have enjoyed the food at this buffet in the past though. Guess we won't be going again until either the kids are older or by ourselves.
The guy on the cash register greeting the people was really racist towards me and my family. He was talking to me like if I was dumb and didn't understand him, i speak fluent English. He tried charging $8.99 for my 1 year old baby. Food was great, best buffet around the area but if i am not welcome there because of my race i will never come back there.
Good variety of food, but if you go during the slow periods, the food is not good. We enjoy taking our kids to the buffet, but we realized they cost the same as adults here! To us, that is crazy! My son is 3 and my daughter is not even 2 yet and they both cost $15 each. When I asked the lady at the front if kids cost the same as adults, she rolled her eyes and said yes. As we ate, no one came to collect our dishes as well. They kept piling up till the end. Rude service and overpriced for children.
Every time I’ve been here, I have left unimpressed. The food is usually not fresh and cold. Today I wanted a Chinese buffet, this is definitely not my first choice of places to go but because it is Monday, no where else is open. I went in with my significant other and my 1 year old twins, it was dinner time so I figured the food would be hopefully at least warm. We went to order and I repetitively said my 1 year olds won’t be eating at the buffet, they’re clearly babies lol. And he still wanted to charge me. $55 for only me and my significant other to eat? Yeah, there is no way. Every other Chinese buffet in the area does not charge for kids under a certain age, or if they do charge, it’s a different price than the adult prices. if my kids were going to be eating here- sure, charge me but again, they’re 1- They weren’t going to eat Chinese. I thought about it, I was going to pay it and get the Chinese buffet I had been craving. But this place was definitely not worth my $ every other time I gave it a try, so it certainly isn’t worth $55 today. Unreal! Lol I will just go buy $55 worth of Chinese food elsewhere that isn’t a buffet. Thanks but no thanks. Mind blown.
I was very pleased with this buffet. Everything was well stocked. Staff was walking around constantly checking the line and stirring up the food. Very clean dining room and friendly staff. We will be back.
Emperor's is genuinely my favorite buffet I've been to. I've been here many times with friends and family, and it's a great experience every time. The food is just so amazing, and there is a lot to choose from. The takeout is pretty expensive, however, and I'd suggest just dining in.
Arrived at 2:45 and we're told they just changed over to the dinner menu, I believe to charge the higher price. Food was dry and you could tell it had been sitting for awhile. Baked salmon (baked something) came out at 3:00 (normal dinner time change). Definitely will NOT recommend and will NOT return.
