Diego was a great server all around. Best margarita in the valley and the scratch made sauces on the food are delicious! The queso with chorizo was creamy and tasty but the fajitas will bring us back!
It is easy while driving to drive by this little restaurant, but DON'T! You don't want to miss eating at El Sabor! I'm glad I found it because it is by far the best authentic Mexican food that I have had while living in Wisconsin for the past 10 years! Before that, I grew up in Southern California so great Mexican food has always been a staple for me. It's been something that has been sorely lacking in my life until now. And let me tell you, El Sabor holds up against any of the best restaurants that I've been to. It's so delicious and they have a lot of favorites that other lesser Mexican restaurants here just don't have (or even have a clue what they are). The waiter, Carlos, is the best waiter that I have ever experienced anywhere! Helpful, thoughtful, friendly, and fast. He did a lot of extra things to ensure that I was happy, comfortable, and ultimately, full! I can't wait until family and friends visit so that I can take them there. Whether you have a large group for a special (or even not-so-special) event or it's just you on a quick work lunch break, you will be glad that you chose El Sabor!

I found this tiny restaurant by accident, and the happiest accident it was indeed! Carlos greeted me and since I was the only lunch customer (lucky me!), I took a booth near the bar. Carlos gave me a very nice menu - one page back to back, clean and filled with delicious appetizers, entrees and desserts. He also brought me a lunch menu. You don't always get nice, clean menus so this is a huge plus for me! Carlos brought my two salsa cups and chips. Both salsas were outstanding! The green salsa is creamy, smooth, and just enough spice to give you a nice zing after eating it. The red is chunky, with tons of flavor and very mild. The chips are standard chips. Carlos was very pleasant, attentive, polite and well-spoken. I asked his advice and he suggested the Mar y Tierra, shrimp, steak, onions and a light cheese sauce served with refried beans and rice. A nice garnish of diced tomatoes, shredded lettuce and crema was on the side. The food was excellent! By far, the best Mexican food I have eaten at a restaurant here in Wisconsin! The food is traditional, so it isn't spicy (although another entree might be), but it is full of flavor! Honestly - you have to eat here! star service, 5 star food, and well worth the price!
The food and drinks are Fantastic! I had the Chimichanga Dinner, 2 Tacos, and a Medium House Marg…5 stars on everything and Carlos is a great, hard-working employee! I’m visiting the area and I would highly recommend!
This is an excellent choice for authentic Mexican food. I'm glad that a co-worker and myself stopped by for lunch! Prices are good for the amount of food that you receive. Unfortunately I didnt have the opportunity to try any of the high end tequila's that I saw on the bar display. Carlos was excellent as well! i will be returning next time I'm in the area!
Small restaurant that seemed family owned. The staff was extremely friendly. They seemed short staffed but made up for delays by having a great positive attitude. The blender wasn't working for margaritas and they were out of several dessert options. Great large portions!
We went there on a very busy Friday. The food was great. The service was exceptional. Carlos our server was amazing even though it was very busy. Would highly recommend this place. If you have a big group just call ahead. They have plenty of room. Enjoy life

My family and I ate here today. My girlfriend had ground beef and it wasn't cooked. It was still pink. My food was cold and nasty. I will never eat there again. I would not recommend this place to anyone.
