I love the burgers, tho I am very discouraged by the sign posted regarding no more discount for Veterans or Seniors due to price of goods. Imagine the cost/price paid by veterans and perhaps rethink that policy. Delicious food, respect veterans and seniors.
Good, hearty burgers and AYCE fries are a staple here. The menu does provide lots of options though. Most of the appetizers are fried but they do offer daily specials and a soup of the day. Lots of drinks to choose from and a few tap beer options. Waitstaff is very personable and food came out rather quickly. Closed on Sunday.
Always a good place to go. They also have all you can eat fries with most of their meals.
The cream of mushroom soup was very very good, however the tenderloin was way overcooked and very tough and chewy. The waitress I had that was absolutely great.
I've been loving this place for thirty-four years and have dined in restaurants in forty- nine states and two Canadian provinces, finding Cinder's to be THE quintessential steak sandwich joint using real charcoal. The service is always amazing, with many servers being long term employees that can handle the busiest crowds with grace and friendliness. Non- chopped steaks ( I'm partial to the filet mignon) and fish and shrimp as well as their other options and sides are excellent for the price. Even the side salad is so well put together. Casual and cozy ambiance. For you fellow DD 214 alumni, the first Monday of every month is 50% off a veteran's meal, and although I mainly eat here on other days when in the Appleton area, when I am in town on the first Monday I eat here and am grateful for the veteran's discount, so nice.
I ordered a Caribbean Jerk wrap today, like I do every...single...time I go there. I took one bite and said this is Chicken Bacon ranch (I tasted bacon, I'm not a fan of bacon). Told the waitress, she went to the cook and the cook had the audacity to argue it and say "No, its Caribbean Jerk, crunchy pieces are haystack onion rings". Ah, I'm in my 50's and have had enough bacon and haystack onions to know the difference, geez!! I worked years upon years in the restaurant industry. 1st of all...don't argue with the customer!!! 2nd of all...just remake the dang thing and correctly!! 3rd...APOLOGIZE!! I took it back from the waitress so not to be as rude as the cook and argue back (was with my dad). Had a few more bites and couldn't gut the rest of it. Took it home for someone else to eat. I love love their Caribbean Jerk wraps, I crave them and know EXACTLY how they taste. Not rocket science ranch is white, their chipotle ranch is light orange and has a distinctive smokey taste! Also, the picture attached is NOT haystack onion! It's bacon! Pretty sure we will not be going as much as we were for our lunches. More than one bad taste in my mouth!!! This review is based on todays experience only and on a rude argumentative cook!! Wish I got the name!

The ribs were terrible. I gave up after a few bites. Tore them all apart to try and find a piece that didn’t taste like a 4 day old microwaved ribs smothered in a gallon of sauce. Disgusting. My stomach hurts thinking about it. Not to mention I worked a 12 hour day pouring concrete and worked up an appetite. I paid, left a nice tip and drove somewhere else.
Great food! Decided to try it for the first time a couple weeks ago & I wish I would have went sooner! I recommend the Caribbean Jerk Wrap! So amazing!!?
