We ordered our food and drinks. After ordering waitress came to our table said a storm is coming, they stopped taking orders, and we need to leave. She went on to tell us they were boxing our dinner up for us. We informed her were from out of town and there were others eating and dining. Charged us full price and kicked us out. The storm is hours away still.
I love the burgers, tho I am very discouraged by the sign posted regarding no more discount for Veterans or Seniors due to price of goods. Imagine the cost/price paid by veterans and perhaps rethink that policy. Delicious food, respect veterans and seniors.
Excellent service. Salad was large, fresh and delicious. It was seved on a chilled bowl. Great value.

The ribs were terrible. I gave up after a few bites. Tore them all apart to try and find a piece that didn’t taste like a 4 day old microwaved ribs smothered in a gallon of sauce. Disgusting. My stomach hurts thinking about it. Not to mention I worked a 12 hour day pouring concrete and worked up an appetite. I paid, left a nice tip and drove somewhere else.
I haven't been to Cinders since they closed the East Wisconsin store. Just got back from the Collage ave. one and if anything it's gotten better. Pricier, yes but whay isn't these days. The good old cheese burger and fries was better than I remembered. I'll put this back on my list of places to go for a great lunch. Keep up the good work.
Took a crazy long time to be seated as their were no tables opening up on the main floor (I needed it as I'm in a wheelchair)That said the service was great and the all you can eat fish was delicious!
So sad to leave this review, but dang! Food was mediocre at best. Not up to the usual Cinders standards. Our hostess was friendly and warm (hence the 2 stars) but our waitress “h” really could have given an F. Super disappointed.
Typically the quality of the food has been outstanding. Not sure if it's due to the pandemic or lack of staff. But the french fries were like rocks and the sandwich was much smaller than it has been previously.
Great food and good service! We go here regularly. Would definitely recommend!
