I remember a time when the quality of service and food was presented with care. I'm still in disbelief that a manager gave a military service member a "senior discount" and even then, only took off 60 cents...the meat was still frozen as if it had just came out of the freezer. The manager continued to argue throughout the altercation. This particular manager seemed to be on some sort of substance or drug (including some of the servers). I know times are hard, but it's unsafe and unprofessional, especially when you're serving families. I'll never return due to the negligence.
I could tell they were busy. Was super patient, waited a little over ten minutes for drinks. We waited well over an hour for 2 orders of chicken tenders, and a chicken and shrimp meal.My kids were extremely hungry after our Mother’s Day hike and were as patient as they could be. When I went to go talk to the manager, and said I’d either like to settle our drinks or see how much longer it’s going to take.So he charged me for my drinks and side salad and let me go on my way. Never checked on my food, or even checked with the kitchen.So we left- happy Mother’s Day to me.Will never go back to any Applebees in Appleton.
The host that sat my friend and I said maybe three words to us between asking us about a table and seating us. The host was also on his phone as we were leaving and didn't say a word to either of us. The waitress we had was pretty nice and she checked in on us relatively often. The food was alright, but not something to write home about. I don't honestly believe I will return, but you never know.
We tried stopping in for dinner a few weeks ago on a random weekday evening at around 5pm. Upon entry, there was no waitstaff be found and a number of full tables in the restaurant, etc. There was a server who looked busy manning several of the tables but he was the only person we saw. Finally after about 10 minutes of standing there, the bartender comes out of the kitchen and says "you guys are going to be disappointed but we're not serving food anymore - all the cooks didn't show up tonight." It was so sad. A previously bustling family restaurant has certainly deteriorated over the years. We'll see how long this place stays open....
This was the worst experience at a restaurant I have had. We were greeted after standing for 5 min by someone is sweatpants crocks and airpods in and an attitude that he hates his job. Then we wanted over an hour for 2 dishes when the restaurant was not busy. We were never checked on or asked if we wanted refiles. Will never make the mistake of returning to this restaurant again
Terrible. Service was bad. Didn't even get a refill on soda. There was plastic in the food. Everyone around us had horrible service. The manager took our entrees off and apologized but I still felt jipped. The restaurant was dirty and the waitress argued with me that the table wasn't dirty when there were crumbs and salt all over the table. The whole business needs to be shut down honestly.
Waited an hour to be seated and another 40 minutes for food to come. Staff was really friendly and did good for the 2 staff members that where doing all of the jobs except cooking. I used to like coming here with my family but I can't justify making my kids wait almost 2 hours for food when we anticipated way less. My food and my families were a little burned from the lack of cooking staff trying to make up the time. I only gave 3 stars for the staff trying so hard.
We had a great server. We went on a Tuesday at lunch time so it was very slow. But it was a good place to eat.
We go there alot and always get seated right away. The staff is friendly, and they will come back and ask if we need refills. I recommend this place
My experience was not good. I had to be somewhere as I stated to the waitress, but that did not matter I guess. She was not around. In the kitchen, sitting with some customers and at the bar with the manager. She did not ask us if we needed a refill. Then I got the wrong price. The steak was not good at all but we did not have time and we would have to wait even longer so I choked it down with A1 sauce but not good. I talked to the manager and he did nothing. Made excuses and make light of my complaint. I will not come back unless this can be resolved. We come quite a bit but not anymore. Plenty of other places to dine. I realize they are short staffed... That was not the problem Jillian was the problem!!!!
