My husband and I eat here about once a week. Unfortunately it is starting to show it's wear and tear; rips in carpet, tears in some bench seats, toilet in restroom has been out of order for about a year, walls need painted. Would like to see things "spruced up" a bit.
Let's start with the environment. The back room they put us in was nice, but we had to ask them to wash our table because we couldn't even peel our receipts from the table. They said its because the spray they use, why not change that? Literally everything stuck to the table. The walls were filthy and busted. My friends and I ALL ordered medium rare steaks, however when we got our food NONE of them were cooked the same. Mine was super rare, my friends was basically charred and everyone else had the same issue. The mushrooms were amazing as was the ice cream and potato bar!
This place has really went down hill since my last visit 3 years ago. They ended up getting rid of the salad bar,an only have the topping for baked potatoes. They still have the ice cream machine. The server was no good she only came to the table 2 times in the 45 minutes we were there. We needed refills, and my food was awful. So I had the steak tips an They were suppose to be medium they were well done. Which made them taste horrible. An a baked potato. The garlic bread was cold an chewy,which once my teeth hit the bread I immediately took out of my mouth. No I did not say anything,only bc when we first walked in to order I asked about the bar [not knowing it was only for baked potatoes ] an I said do u get the bar with ur meal? To which the response I received was yes if u get a baked potato. An my husband didn't get a baked potato but I asked does he get the bar too? The response was I don't care what he does.
Place is dirty, booth seats are split open, waited close to 25 min for food. Country fried steak gravy was so watered down could of used a straw it was so runny. Food was cold, never going back, it is going down hill fast. My husband and I both got food poisoning last time we ate there, we both were very sick within 30 min. of each other. Tried the second time won't go back.
Food was delicious! I'm not sure why you can have a potato bar that every customer goes to but no salad bar. Customers were literally standing under the sneeze guard.
Had a great lunch with my daughter here. Food was amazing! Great steak & salad. I give Cook 5 stars: Perfect MR tips, that's hard to do. Also 5 stars to our server Chasity (Chas) she was very friendly & her energy was contagious. We left feeling as if we'd had lunch at home.Very clean restaurant. I can't wait to bring my granddaughter to eat there!
Not what I expected at all. We stood in a cafeteria type line to choose our food instead of sitting and ordering. Then it's not even a buffet which I thought it was, and potato bar I think not, just some butter and cheese and sour cream. The waitress was nice though, so good customer service just not worth it in my opinion.
The food was good, hot and served within 20 minutes. Server also took care of our needs in a timely manner. Price was about $30
Overpriced! $$$Cheap product!Bored & rude staff!That's why you pay before you get you food?Was Raw & salty. I Left all my food on the table! What a total waste of money. No thanks, And if anyone wonders why Western Sizzlin is a dying "restaurant chain?" It's listed above, a Totally Waste of money, I'll never go back!
Salad bar is gone. The wings on the bar used to be the reason to come here. Stopped in last night and ordered a top sirloin cooked medium and it came out well done. Not even close.I used to really love it here!
