My girlfriend and I eat here often and usually love the food so it disappoints me to write a poor review, but our last visit was much worse than sub par. Our meatballs and vegetables were cold even after they were fresh out of the kitchen, and the margarita pizza that we ordered was also DISGUSTING. The margherita pizza was extremely wet and had a strange flavor / smell to it. Then when I asked the manager to remake it he was very rude in telling us that if it was to be remade it would be made exactly the same. Then, when I told him that it was not prepared in the usual manner he said that it is exactly the same and that I didn't know what I was talking about. Very disappointed in the rude service and the NASTY food.

I ordered baked ziti. I arrived when my food should have been done. I waited for approximately 20 minutes. They checked on my order twice stating they did not know what was taking so long. When I opened the container it smelled like tomato soup and cheese. The food was barely palatable. I have eaten pizza, salads, and egg plant parmesan in the past and it was good. I don't know if it was another cook or they did not know how to make baked ziti.
The spaghetti marinara is so very fabulous, although I always feel a little confused about what to do when ordering. I live far away and Rubi's is a special treat for me. This time my order was a little goofed but the food is worth the trip, extra breadsticks ALWAYS!
Their cheesesteak Philly is the best in our area, and you will not find another place in the mid-Ohio valley with a better cheese steak sub. We have tried their food for several years since we moved to this area from Philadelphia, PA and our experience is positive every single time. Their sub is so good that it can be a contender to Pat's King of Steaks and Geno's Steaks located in south Philadelphia PA. (Order one and add marinara sauce to make it an Italian cheese steak. Just got a cheese steak hoagie to go. Took a couple bites then noticed the bread is moldy. And the manager is to busy to deal with it. Never going back
I absolutely love this hidden gem in Parkersburg WV. I've never had a bad meal. Wonderful quick bites like calzones and pizza but also have wonderful Italian dishes. Always have a special worth checking out and there strawberries and cream are amazing. I drive from Columbus Ohio to eat here it's that good.

Love this place! Just recently learned about Rubie's and decided to check it out. They have so many selections that it was hard to decide. We each tried two different kinds of pizza, and both were great. Can't wait to come back and try some of the yummy looking pasta!
