There were only two waitresses for about 10 tables, yet 5 other employees sitting at the bar, talking, drinking, and basically watching them work.A table received all their food before we did despite us arriving earlier. Food preparation was incredibly slow and quality was not very appetizing. It tasted like it was sitting out for a while. They also didn't have the ingredients for many meals on their menu.Only reason I did 2 stars and not 1 was because our waitress was extremely nice. She was very hardworking and knew what she was doing. Other than her, not impressed with the service. Do not come here for food in particular.
Nice blues band and like that Cell Block 304 beer
Great service good beer and awesome pickles. The selection isn’t as good as some breweries but their beer is good. The waitress was very nice and attentive
My wife and I dined on a Thursday evening and the joint busy--not too crowded, though and we were waited on immediately. I had one of the burgers and my wife had a salad with tuna. My wife loved here food, but I have to say that the burger was one of the best I have ever had. Neither of us like beer that much, but I had a freshly brewed light (grapefruity) selection which I enjoyed. There were many other choices as well. Only downer was they had no cider. We will be back.
We went on a Saturday night around 8:00 and had a wonderful meal. It was more of a restaurant feel than a brewery feel, so our teens were comfortable there. It’d be comfortable as a hang out with just beer too.Food was very good. Their grilled chicken entree was juicy and had great flavor. Beers were great. The Tsunami IPA was so good I had to buy a 6 pack of it to bring home. Wings were also meaty with good flavor (we had their gold sauce which packed a pretty peppery kick at the end. Very nice).
House made black bean burger. In West Virginia. I thought surely the waitress (the very helpful, friendly, and sassy Cassidie) would be like "oh we don't have those currently." but she didn't even flinch. Totally treated me like a regular person who ordered meat, and was even able to tell me about the patty and suggest toppings. The pretzel bun, turns out was not only worth it, but is not to be missed. We got our pretzel sticks appetizer and it was clear these folks know what they're doing. Fresh pretzels are neither easy nor quick. Kudos for baking in-house!Oh scratch that. When I sat down and saw their brewed beer list it was clear these folks know what they're doing. A sour weiss? Yes please. Did not disappoint.Almost everything we had was made fresh from the fried pickles to the cheese sauce. Fresh is a rarity among eateries anywhere in the country, and for it Parkersburg Brewing Co deserves it's 5 star rating. Delightful experience.
The owner is very nice and accommodating to our needs. Their beer selection is amazing and you have to stop by to try out their combinations!!! It is a MUST. Thank you for your hospitality. We had truly enjoyed our stay especially with the waitress who knew sign language! Amazing!
Great place with good beers and tasty food! Tucked into a cool pocket of Parkersburg!
Everything is absolutely delicious servers are very kind and friendly willing to help and the beer and seltzer is amazing
Truly, this place is the busiest, best restaurant in the town. It has a nice elevated pub food menu. The beers are good. The salad is great, as are the other entrees. The staff is so kind as well!
