We are always big los agaves fans. We are also not big about complaining…but because I love los agaves I want to tell y’all you need to get it together, the time before this that we were there wasn’t the greatest experience but tonight was so disappointing . We did without chips and salsa for at least 15 minutes we had already ordered our food and had our drinks before we got chips. It was 8 in the evening not rush hour. Our waiter muttered some sort of greeting if that’s what you would call it and was constantly looking around and seemed to be In a rush the whole time he was waiting on us. When he brought our food out (I had ordered fajitas) he brought my husband’s nachos that looked like someone’s leftovers , my cold plates and tortillas but no chicken…for a good 5-7 minutes then when he did bring it he slid it on the table at the end , not even to me and never said carful it’s hot which obviously I knew it would be hot which is why he should have set it in front of me instead of the end of the table where I had to touch the hot handle. My husband’s Dr Pepper never got refilled the one he brought him to begin with was the only one he got , he had to get something out of his work cooler on his truck as soon as we got to the parking lot, and I was never asked if I wanted another margarita which I definitely would have had one more at least and we were going to order shots but he seemed rushed and clearly was not interested in serving us. I really hope this isn’t the new normal for one of my favorite restaurants in town.
Great food and the servers are our friends now! I go religiously every week! Cinco De Mayo rocked last night there!!
Server was really great, brought drink refills before we even asked, and took really good care of us even though he had two huge tables (at least 10 for one, about 15 at another) and several other tables. He checked on us multiple times, and was really friendly. We got enchiladas and also the birria tacos...both were great.
Had a wonderfully moist Cuban dish with carnitas, ham, bacon, avocado and pineapple- excellent. The folks with me were as complimentary on their dishes. Definitely recommend.
The food was delicious. Great prices and portions. The most flavorful mexican rice I've ever had.
Second best Tex- mex restaurant I've been to since living in Florida. The first best restaurant is El Cancun in Rock Hill, SC. If in West Virginia go to Los Agaves
Always good when we eat there.
Very disappointed Monday 12-13-21 ordered pitcher of margaritas rocks no salt... Pitcher came to us half frozen half on rocks. TRY to pour a frozen margarita out of a pitcher full of ice. Ordered loaded queso. Was very good but ran out of chips and couldn't find ANYONE to get more. They were all gathered at a tv watching football! I literally had to knock stuff off table to get anyone's attention.
Amazing food and great service every single time. Love this place.
Service was quick and amazing. Food was even better. Definitely will be back!
