Mexican Salad
(304) 422-0005

I got two plates of carnetas, It came with meat, rice, beans and some lettuce, guacamole, sour cream. Sounds like alot but no very little portions for 15 something a plate. Especially the meatI paid over thirty dollars for that and didn't even come withe a drink. The taste of the food was ? good. Thanks

Charged for items we didn’t order. Was told it was credited and was not.

First visit. Last visit. Bathroom was filthy. No towels for hand drying. Overall uncleanliness. Tables and chairs and booth seats need a deep cleaning. Service very lacking. The couple at adjacent table received a taco salad. Her whole plate was soaked in grease and dripping. She poured at least a quarter cup of grease off her plate, took one bite, pushed plate away and refused to eat. Probably the worst Mexican food I have ever eaten. Presentation was unappetizing, enchiladas were bland and I was sick half the night. It's not the same great food under new management. You'll leave wondering why you went there. Very disappointing to say the least.

The service was good and when I went it wasn't too crowded. The restaurant itself is bright and colorful. The menu is pretty typical for a Mexican restaurant. The food is nicely priced and so are the drinks. The food tasted good and was nicely prepared. It wasn't as hot as I would of liked but that was fine and nothing to fuss over. I wish there was a bit more cheese in the taco but it was still delicious. The tamales and enchiladas tasted great. I loved there was an option to have cheese on the burritos, however I didn't know it was an extra cost, but well worth it.The margaritas are good. The pina colada was from a mix but I thought it tasted good. I also had the mango which tasted almost like a fresh mango.I also got dessert and was very happy with it. It tasted great. I got the banana one which had a scoop of icecream slices of banana and strawberries covered in chocolate and carmel sause. There was also dessert tortilla chips covered in cinnamon. The chips are similar to the bowl some deep fried icecreams come in. The dessert was probably my favorite part just because it was something new and different that I hadn't had before.Overall it was a very positive experience. I just wish there was more seafood options and dishes with actual crab in them. A blue crab meat chimichanga would be awesome. But besides my desire for more seafood thus place was well worth the visit and time. I plan to come back while I am in this area to enjoy more of the tasty food and drinks.

Food was good. Atmosphere was chilly. Don't think heat was working had space heaters sitting around. It was very cold.

Amazing Mexican food !

Thought I was walking into Tampicos. Turned out it had changed management... Service was good! Unfortunately the food was not. The salsa was strange and reminded me of marinara. The queso was almost too salty to eat. The main meal was very plain. My friend had an enchilada which was cold with hard rice. I had a piece of steak that was so chewy I had to spit it into the napkin. Price ended up being around $26 for both.

We love Hungry Amigos (formerly Tampico). The staff and food are awesome. My first choice when deciding where to dine.

Foods always hot and fresh. Service is fast and freindly.

Dont listen to jill this place is amazing. The people, the food, all amazing.
