Hometown favorite and I make it a point to visit here at least once every time I come home to Parkersburg. This establishment is a cornerstone of our community and I’ve been coming here since I was a kid. I’m just glad I can share this piece of my childhood with my own boys :)The food is straightforward and always fresh. You can’t go wrong in this place. The prices have remained ridiculously low, even now. The ladies are always friendly and the service is fast.Don’t stop supporting small businesses like this. These “hole in the wall” or “mom and pop shops” are what we need to retain some small semblance of community and togetherness. You just can’t leave a place like this without a full stomach, and a full heart.
As always good food at a good price. Not fancy, just a small town place. But it's a quaint little spot to stop for lunch.
I moved out of town but “the slop shop” is always first on my list when I come home! Best prices, & best fast burgers & hot dogs! I always get the hotdog with sauce & slaw
My boyfriend loves their hotdogs. That's good, because they cost 1$ each. There was a long line but it moved fairly quickly.

This is a Southside Parkersburg institution. Yeah it is cash only and the food isn't gourmet. But when I travel back to the MOV, I always hit up two places...Broadway and McHappys.For the price the hotdogs and burgers are a wonderful treat. Don't forget the cherry soda.

Been eating thier food for 51 years, and can't wait to visit each time I make it back to my home town.
Super cheap good. Taste good. 2 stars cause they only take cash. Not like they can get square card reader in a 20 second app download
