Good wood fired pizza on a nice patio. Banana pudding was okay. Lots of pizza options to share. Parking garage near by.
This place is a fantastic brewery and restaurant. I had a flight of 6 different beers made up of ales, lagers and IPA's and some were better than others, all we're solid. My favorite was Starlite! I highly recommend a pizza, which is cooked in a wood fired pizza oven in the middle of the restaurant. We also got the pulled pork nachos which were out of this world! Can't wait to come back!
Visiting to drop off our daughter at WVU stopped in around 3 pm. The service was great even tho you could tell the waiter had way too many tables (understaffed like most places I’m guessing). My husband got a pizza and salad. My daughter and I each got a caprese sandwich. I got mine on a gluten free rolls. Everything was excellent and fairly priced. Definitely will visit again when we come back in august for drop off.
Had a great experience with our server at the bar. We ordered a flight of beer, a flight of margaritas, cheesy bread and garlic hummus. Very delicious. My husband and I will definitely be back!
Great food. My sandwich was stacked with pulled pork, and the drinks were pretty good as well. The weather was perfect for outdoor seating, and I loved seeing all the puppies.
We called ahead for a party of 7 on a Thursday afternoon ad was told there is plenty of seating. Once we arrived, we were told that there is a 20 minute wait. As we looked around the resturant was empty except for a large party that just left and a few couples. The host was busting his butt clearing and cleaning tables as well as seating people while a table filled with managers talked, yet there we were waiting. Finaly seated, we placed our order immediately. Another 30 plus minutes went by before we received our food. The wait staff was not attentive, got an order worng, and struggled with just 2 tables. I cannot recommend this place. On top of that, you have to pay for parking.
My wife and I stopped to sample some beers and get some dinner. The inside has a feel like a lodge in the mountains and the smell of the wood fired stove enhances that setting. We tried 4 of the 5 beers available from their brewery, plus a couple guest taps. They were all very good and true to style. We got a steak & cheese pizza drizzled with A1 sauce with horseradish sauce on the side. It was very tasty. Our server was quite friendly and attended to us an appropriate amount. I would recommend this place.
Called at 5 PM to see if there were any tables available. Hostess was confused why I would ask. She said of course they had tables available it was a Monday evening. Asked if I could reserve a table for 2. She said they only take reservations for parties of 6 or more but I wouldn't have a problem. Got there at 7:15 and they had no availability for the rest of the night. Couldn't do anything for to help us. Hope they close. They deserve it.
We took our baseball team, which included a dozen 11 year old boys and their families, to Mountain State and our food/service was phenomenal. They were patient, thorough, and prepared for our large party. Our server went above and beyond to make sure our needs were met. The food was delicious! 10/10 highly recommend!
The food is good, even the next day. The service is usually pretty good. The location is reasonably easy to access and near enough to the rest of downtown Morgantown. And so on...I'm not sure what it's all about, but recently they seem to have a problem getting my order right. They've made the same mistake two of the last three times I've visited. But damn, is that food worth the price when they get it right!
