My spouse and I were there on a Wed at dinner time for a special celebratory meal. The restaurant and bar were very sparsely seated and the environment was quiet and slow. Having been there many times over the years and seeing a favorite table in the window empty and set up, one that my husband and I have sat at before as a two top, I asked for it. The hostess had to go to the rear to talk to the manager to see if that could be arranged since there were four chairs at the table and we were two people. Again, most of the restaurant was empty, with many four tops empty or two tops which could be easily pushed together, as they frequently do, to make a four top if they needed it. The hostess returned saying we could not be seated at the requested table, not because it was reserved for a party arriving imminently, but because we were two people, not four. Really? On a slow Wed evening with a mostly empty restaurant and bar? It looked to me like they could have used the 100 plus 25 tip we would have been spending for meals and drinks. But, I guess they'd rather let their window four top sit there empty. Wrong choice, we left with our money.
We had a delicious dinner on Friday night and Alexis was a wonderful server. We went back for brunch on Sunday and Mark did an excellent job. The food and drinks were delicious BOTH times we went. I recommend this restaurant!
Excellent prime rib sandwich or lunch. Wasn’t sure what to think as cosmetically, this place was sort of a dump on first impression. I could not have asked for a better sandwich. Service was good, prices good too. Would definitely return if ever in Morgantown again.
I come in here every once in a while for some drinks and some good food. The menu is pretty accessible to vegetarians and their selection of craft beers hasn’t been anything but great. The bartender, Raven, has been one of the nicest service people I’ve ever met. Definitely suggest
Great coffee and pancake with chocolate chip! Very delicious food! Eggs taste good with pepper but little wet inside. Staff are friendly and understanding how busy they are.
My family used to love Iron Horse Tavern but was afraid to eat the food after the interaction with the waitress Tori. It was not a busy day and at minimal requests from us, she seemed bothered. She repetitively rolled her eyes at me and rudely stated "Well you rolled your eyes at me first." I was shocked and asked her if she wanted a tip. She nastily said "not from you."
Fun atmosphere, great local beer, and pretty good food! We were looking for a quick bite and made a last second decision to go to Iron Horse for the first time and everyone was impressed.We will definitely be going back!

Finally got a chance to stop in, and pretty much felt right at home. Got a lager and the Iron Horse burger with fries... it sure hit the spot!!! Stop in... you won't be disappointed. All aboard!
The food is always amazing there. Went there for Brunch they had an amazing selection.
