Great atmosphere and service! We enjoyed the food and our server was very friendly and attentive. I think her name was Jenna and she did a good job on a busy night. Band was good as well.We will be back!
The servers need some work. We were seated outside not under any shade which was not an issue until it started to rain. When we asked if we could switch tables or even scoot our table under the shade by the empty table they said no. However, we were not paying to eat in the rain, so we scooted the table before we got soaked and our food. I only got one drink as the waitress never checked if we needed refills. When she brought out the main course we has already been there an hour, and I even asked for a refill which she never brought. The hostess gave us dirty looks once she noticed we scooted the tables after they told us we had to sit in the rain. When our food finally came out my fries were already cold. Our appetizers, however, were delicious. Other guests nearby even commented on how rude the staff was.
We enjoyed our dinner here. The shrimp tacos did not disappoint, but the stay of the show was the cheese fries loaded with pulled pork. We also got the pear gorgonzola appetizer that was delicious.Service was good and the view was very pretty. Only negative is the parking situation. It's really tight.
I’d love to rank this place better than one star however my wife and I didn’t get addressed after we were sat. All the servers walked around us, paying attention to everyone else but we sat there for a half hour with our menus and beer (from the bar) without even being addressed (not even a water). So, we just left.The hostess had seated people around us, every table around us was attended to by a server…?♂️So, if you’re looking for somewhere to eat go to Lake House, or Tropics and skip this place because Dockside will probably skip you.
Visited Dockside for the first time last week and had a fantastic experience. Sat at the bar and our bartender Laurel was super personable and knowledgeable about the menu and drinks. I got the lobster roll (per her recommendation) and was not disappointed. Will definitely be returning!
Very loud inside. We would have sat outside but it was going to rain. Food was good but it was hard to communicate to other people in our party.
The location was great with a nice view of the water. They were out of their fish taco special and had the swordfish, which was good but not super tender. The lobster roll had a ton of lobster but didn't have as much flavor as the ones on the east coast. Service was initially very good but slowed down considerably as the restaurant got busier. I would recommend giving the restaurant a try. There were many choices on the menu and the wine and beer list was decent. And great location.
Perfect WVU graduation dinner spot. Beautiful lake, outdoor seating for our large family. Great job!
First time here and we loved it! The food and mixed drinks were great. The atmosphere was relaxed and laid back. Our server Sadie was perfect.
Attentive service, friendly atmosphere, menu is a bit short but good food!
