We stopped for brunch today while traveling. We ordered the crab dip which is probably one of the best I have ever had at a restaurant. I had the crab omelette which was stuffed quitegenerously and delicious. The other person that was with me had the jerk chicken omelette. He attested that his was very good also.
Menu needs to have prices. We ordered 3 Hot Mess dishes and none of us ate the clams and mussel and they wouldn't let us substitute anything in their place. We spent close to 200.00 for 3 people. And the waiter walked by 4 times a day our glasses were empty. Had to ask to fill them
The crab dip was amazing, the pita bread was so good! The streamers were so good! Brought it out so very fast! The key-lime ice cream was so refreshing! Waiter was a lot of fun, & very good! Thanks we will be back!
Food was less than average. My shrimp and scallops had potential and was served in bowl with cooked vegetables. The coconut based broth had potential but after wading through through the oil floating on top, i found the shrimp and scallops completely overcooked. My wife's jerked chicken salad was thrown together with limp lettuce and the jerked chicken was dry and over cooked as well. Desert was the best part of our dinner. Will not return.
We ate here on Graduation weekend. Had a 4:45 reservation, and NO ONE was in the restaurant. Food was decent....server was not very attentive. She vanished a few times to Parts Unknown. Might go back....
The place is average at best. Nothing exceptional. What brings down my rating is that most of us got a meal with the snow crab and they were extremely disappointing. There were times that there were absolutely no meat inside, which doesn't seem possible. I know that the place can't guarantee how much meat you're going to get, but, when you're paying $48 a pound, you expect more than half of a small appetizer plate.
This was the first time in a long time that my wife and I just walked out of a place. The host seated us with menus and that was it! Between the Barkeeper and waitstaff there was more staff than customers that evening and we couldn't even get a drink order placed. After being passed by numerous times we got up and walked down the plaza to another restaurant to eat.
Very disappointed came specifically for king crab. Server explained there was no ling crab.
