Its was a great lunch. My teenager loved his bacon burger and his extra fries, my husband enjoyed the whiskey bacon burger, cooked just the way he likes it also his extra fries he enjoyed. I got ty he broccoli alfredo, this dish was good but it would have been better with extra sauce on it because it tasted a little dry but it was good.
Server was telling sob stories to each table about how the last people had issues with the food (one table was told it was a steak and another was told it was the soup) and she was only the server she didn't prepare the food, but they still didn't leave her a tip and the order was almost $100. The table in particular that was about the soup I was there for the whole time and they never had any issues and did in fact leave her a tip. She even thanked them for filling out the survey afterward because if she gets all good reviews her manager buys her a meal from there. All of this is totally unprofessional and lying just to try to get bigger tips. She seemed to be aware that my friends and I caught on to her and basically ignored us the rest of our meal. The wait time just to place our order was over 10 minutes. I have eaten at several different Applebee's including this one before and have never had service this unprofessionally bad.
TINY waiting area, I went in to find dozens of empty tables but "we're not seating folks right now, because the kitchen is really backed up" said the VERY young man at the door. I'm sorry, WHAT?? Then it occurred to me.... No wait staff. Computer kiosks on the tables let you send your own order and changes directly to the kitchen. If I wanted to order with a computer I'd have gone to Sheetz. Very disappointed, and angry.
Amazing experience since I've never been to an Applebee's before. I was visiting for the weekend due to playing in the WVU Honors Orchestra. Stayed at the Hampton Inn directly beside this location and got 10% off my order bc I was from the hotel! Our waiter, Adreanna, was super sweet and funny too. Dinner was so delicious that we ended up going back for dessert!
Food was not bad. Service was also not bad. Got the raspberry sweet tea for my drink. I was their alittle before my party arrived. Drank 4 teas during the course of the meal and usual chit chat. I would of ordered something with alcohol if I new I had to pay $3.50 for each refill. Come on Applebee's seriously ? ? ?
Curbside pickup waitress was very nice and helpful when our order was missing the fries for both dinners she quickly took care of the situation get home only to find douple Burger is PINK !RECEIPT clearly reads NOPINKAnd fries with both dinners.
Wings at Applebee’s not so good. Looking for the best wings in M’Town! You won’t find them here. Order taker was very nice!
Good food and service usually.Would rather have steak fries or home cut style rather than effectively string potato's with the ribs.Would have been more comfortable with some covid protection between booths. Having people about a foot away not comforting for eating.
The service was great. The server Ben is very friendly and you could ask him for anything and he'd deliver. My steak was a little undercooked than what I had ordered and it was almost impossible to chew and cut through. Besides that, food was ?
Food and appetizers was outstanding, margaritas were strong. All plates was sizzling . The waiter was mindful to keep us informed of food arrival after appetizers. He timed everything just right. I was in Fairmont, West Virginia for this meal.
