Sat in the drive thru for ten minutes, no one came over the speaker so I tried asking if anyone was there…. Still no answer. I really wanted some Popeyes too. It was about 3:50pm on May 10,2022. I waited a few more minutes and then drove off. Here’s the best part, there was a worker chillin in the drive thru window looking at us? like come tf on lady. I’m sure she doesn’t care, she’s still getting paid either way. Lazy is an understatement. I saw a car go through the drive thru when I first pulled up so she’s just not answering people hoping they just leave so she can stand around. That’s just my assumption though. I’m pretty upset about it. I was craving some mashed potatoes and Cajun gravy. I guess I’ll have to go to spring mills or Charles town next time. After reading the reviews, I’m not sure I would have been happy with the food anyway. Get better employees. Ones who care. I know how fast food works because I’ve worked at many drive thrus so I know that when you pull up, the headset goes off letting you know someone is there. Even if they were busy which I didn’t see any other cars except the one she still could’ve answered the headset and said can I please have a minute or I’ll be with you in a few minutes instead of wasting my time.
Rudest customer service ever including management. An employee was chastised while guests were at the register. The food was room temperature not hot. Just overall quality of service was ridiculous.
Corporate needs to visit this location. I have been having horrible experiences here for YEARS. It's such a shame because Popeyes food, when made correctly, is my go-to comfort food. This location is an insult to the brand. Rude staff, cold/missing items, filthy interior. If you're struggling that badly, please just shut it down or at least find new management. Please!!!
It was the worst experience ever. The chicken was cold and the service was horrible. We had coupons that we bought from a fund raiser. It was $25 gave $30 coupon no change. We asked the manager what's up. He said no change,my fiance asked for food to add up to $30 and again NO!!!! We will never go there again.
The Popeyes in Martinsburg is the most rudest people I ever came acrossed it was around 6:00 and I wanted a 200 piece chicken tenders for a party for my friend before he got shipped cross seas and they were rude and they wouldn't make it they say it's still frozen I told him I'll wait for it but the guy over the loudspeaker getting take my order so I called the manager the phone is not working and it's busy or disconnected I email headquarters corporate office haven't heard nothing back from them so that Popeye's really is not worth going to best Popeyes to go to is one in spring Mills they got excellent service their food is awesome The People's awesome
They will probably get something in your order wrong, so double check before you leave. Be it the wrong type of tenders, missing sauce or missing utensils.
If I could give this place negative stars I would. Waited 10 min at the speaker before someone acknowledged me then was asked to pull into a parking space and wait. I have now been waiting for 25min for one meal. This is the service 9 times out of 10 at this location. WORST SERVICE OUT OF ANY FAST FOOD RESTAURANT IVE BEEN TO.
Popcorn shrimp was advertised as $2.49 on their menu, but rang up as $8. I didn't see until after my receipt was printed. The workers were nice, but were instructed not to give refunds. Whoever manages this location uses false advertising (illegal).
I wanted to get nuggets but they were out of nuggets the girl said so I got a 9 piece special that had 2 leg sides 4 biscuits and tenders so when I got home I had only 9 pieces of chicken no tenders and the sides were in 3 lil single servings each I was very unsatisfied I won't go back to that Popeyes again it's in Martinsburg WV
I’d give it no stars if I could. Every time I order from Popeyes in martinsburg, wv, the chicken is hard as a rock and tastes old. I asked for fresh and they put it in the microwave to heat up OLD CHICKEN. The people that work there can’t speak English very well and they are extremely rude.
