This location has managed to mess up my order the last 10 out of 10 times. From missing the avocado in a “turkey bacon avocado” sandwich to once even missing the Turkey. On top of that, the BLUEBERRY and peach smoothie ends up looking like the picture below every time. It’s a bit low on the blueberry, high on the peach, and has fairly large chunks of ice. I have not had this made right in over a year. Ive been here many times.The sad part here is that I am not exaggerating, nor am I being uncharitable. I love the roasted turkey avocado BLT. It’s awesome. But for some reason, this location has been hell bent on making me hate Panera. If the smoothie was not $6 a pop, it may not be that big of a deal, but I’m paying premium prices for scam level food more than half of the time and it’s really frustrating. Yes, I had to have them remake sandwiches again today. Sigh.
Was mocked by employee!Our toddler was crying towards the end of our meal. We were rushing to get her out and the employee, Sarah, started to pretend to wail and stated “I can do that too”. As a parent doing their best with their sensory child, trying to cope with methods to calm her, we don’t need anything else that isn’t helpful standing in our way. Horrible experience as a customer and a person.
I generally love Panera but this time I was saddened by my two 10 dollar salads (with tax). I'm not sure if this is a reject Cesar salad that was attempting to be a Fuji apple salad but the goal was not met. But the store deserves 3 stars because the bathroom was clean! You win some, you lose some. Highly recommend visiting a different location for your salad needs.
You can count on this Panera to either get your food wrong or to forget an item or to have a messy, sloppy eating area. I ordered rapid pickup for breakfast...a wrap and a coffee. When I went inside to grab my order, the coffee cup was just sitting empty in the bag. Tell me something Panera manager, how do YOU define "rapid pickup"??? Cause we're clearly not on the same page! When I went to get my hazelnut coffee (what I'd ordered), the carafe was empty, table covered in sugar...as it has been every..single...other...time I've visited...not one clean spot to put a cup down....and only 2 lids left. And its hit or miss whether theres an employee there to help you. There wasn't one when I visited today. This, along with many many other Martinsburg area restaurants, are consistent only in their ability to disappoint and frustrate. The only GOOD restaurants in this town are run by people who AREN'T FROM HERE!! Do yourself a favor and hit the paneras in Hagerstown, exit 6B on 81 northbound. MUCH better service, food, staff, and eating/coffee area.
We placed an order through GrubHub. Order arrived on time, HOWEVER, I have never seen such skimpy portions of dressings, and toppings. There was ONE tiny slice of avocado on my chicken avocado melt. Such a disappointment.
My wife ordered food to be picked up. When I went to pickup food it wasn't ready and was thrown an attitude, telling me I was to early. As they proceeded to make my food they were throwing things around the kitchen and saying how hard there day was. This was the worst customer service I have had and may never go back to Panera. Also when I got home I was missing my bread bowl.
Can’t make a simple grilled cheese. For spending 40+ on two sandwiches and can’t even make the most simple sandwich that man kind has to offer is astounding. 1 slice of unbelted cheese. Each time I’ve got in there the people in the back are gossiping aloud about highschool drama. Very unprofessional.
Messed up the order and forgot spoons for the soups. Rude at the drive thru. Rude on the phone when I was talking (politely) and hung up on me. I called back and was put on hold and they never came back. Very unprofessional. And no they weren’t busy. We were the only vehicle in the drive thru. Lost our business!
Food is always wrong I would bet 4 out of 5 times something is left out or made wrong in every order.. last one was suppose to be a blueberry muffin called to advise them it was plain I was told to take a bite of it first. Then I said I'm not stupid but it's plain not one berry and no crumble. Response was darn it those aren't suppose to be out.. you can come grab another one. Like our time and gas doesn't matter how about a sorry for the inconvenience and my attitude.. breakfast sandwiches are a hit and a miss every time we order from here a few times a week spending from 20 to 25 each time if husband didn't love their everything bagel or if a mom and pop place opened I would never go here again..
This location has gone downhill. I ordered rapid pick up for 11am. I get there and the dining room is closed due to covid and there is a rapid pick up table. No big deal except that no one was manning the table or answering the phone. I had to sit in the long drive thru just to get my order. The cookie and baguette were dry.
